Three years ago...
"Happy birthday Chanyeol!!"
Chanyeol excitedly blows the candle of his cake after making a wish. He just turned 17 and he really looks forward about this year. Mrs. Park smiled at him before turning to his husband who only nods and let his wife to give Chanyeol their surprise.
"Open it!" Yoora excitedly said.
Chanyeol nods and open the box and saw a beautiful necklace with a dreamcatcher pendant. He looked at him and saw is shimmering so beautifully.
"Wow! It's so beautiful!" Chanyeol excitedly said.
"Remember how you keep telling us about your dream to be a musician?" Mr. Park asked his son who nods. "And you know that we love you and willing to help you to reach for it, right?"
"Yes, Dad.." Chanyeol nods again.
"So, this is a necklace that would help you to reach it," Mr. Park continues. "It's pendant have a spell that could hide your real scent as an omega." Chanyeol furrowed his brows. "You know how people looked down at Omegas right? We can't risk your life out there if we let you alone while achieving your dreams."
"Dad.." Chanyeol looked at the necklace.
Mr. Park smiled at him. It was a serious and long discussion within him and his wife. He is so protective about his son since he is a Omega. His eldest, Yoora is a Beta so he knows that she can handle things and wouldn't get looked down by anyone. Although Chanyeol is someone who always shows and proved his self, he is still looked down for being a Omega.
Chanyeol has been telling them that he really loves to be a well-known musician. And he wanted to prove that Omegas can do more that just being those sweet little princesses who needs someone to protect them. He learned a lot since he wanted to show that he can stand on his own and he can do more.
His family has always been supportive of him and they are one of his strongest foundation.
"Your Dad really don't want to let you go there alone you know," Mrs. Park teased his Alpha husband. They are lucky to have him since Alphas are known for being arrogant and showing dominance all the time. Mr. Park have a soft-heartened heart but he can also be ruthless if it's about his family.
"Chanyeollie is our baby, Dear, I can't just let those people hurt him," Mr. Park said.
Chanyeol didn't say anything and just hugged his parents. Yoora smiles seeing how happy her adorable brother while thanking their parents. Mr. and Mrs. Park smiles back and said nothing but encouragement for Chanyeol.
"Show the world what our Chanyeol can do, okay?" Mrs. Park said.
"You can do it, my precious jewel," Mr. Park pet his head.
"Thank you, Mom and Dad.." Chanyeol said. "Also to you too, Noona, I'm so lucky to have you as my family!"
That night, they celebrated his birthday with more laughters and ate all the food they have on the table.
Chanyeol is now lying on his bed while looking at the necklace his parents gave him. He knows that it would be difficult for him but this is his dream.
