“The meeting will start in five minutes Sir.”
Baekhyun looked up to his secretary before nodding and stand up. He picked up his coat and wear it then left his office to walk towards the conference room where every major holders and other high positions would meet. He maintain his unreadable looks as he took his seat near the Chairman, who is his Grandfather. As the next heir and one to lead the Byun Corp., everyone is watching his every move in and out of the company. At the age of 30, he already proved his self as the strongest candidate for the position. But of course, there are always people who wants to pull him down to took his position. Baekhyun make sure to not let his guard down even to his own relatives who keeps eyeing the position too.
"We are gathered here today to talk about the sales of each department," Mr. Kim Junmyeon, the most trusted lawyer of the Byun Corporation. He worked for the Byun's next to his late Dad after graduating from a prestigious law school. Him and Baekhyun are friends outside professional business and he also acts as his older brother in rare times needed.
The meeting continued with every department showing their progress and flaws if they have. Baekhyun carefully listens as his time to show his presentation came. He stood up with all confidence and talked professionally. After the meeting Baekhyun was left to have a talk with his Grandfather.
"I'm planning to step down next year, Baekhyun," Chairman said after sipping from his tea. "I would like to enjoy the left years I have."
Baekhyun looked at his Grandfather.
"Are you still afraid that I'm not good enough to take your place?" Baekhyun asked.
"Of course not, you silly young man," the Chairman shook his head. "I know you're ready to take my place but I'm still worried."
"Worried about what?" Baekhyun furrowed his brows.
"You know that I'm not that young, and sooner I will live this world," Chairman looked at Baekhyun. "So, I wished to see you getting married or maybe having someone who will be by your side before I left."
"I'm still young, and I don't have time for that," Baekhyun said.
"Baekhyunnie, aren't you lonely living alone on your penthouse? Are you already settle to only have flings or one night stands?" Chairman asked. "Junmyeon here already have a fiancé, and I can say that Joohyun is such a lovely and good woman for him."
Baekhyun sighed. "Hyung, meet Noona when they are at college and you know that I don't believe in love."
The Chairman sighed. "Still, I want to see you dating or getting married soon, or else I will pass my position to somebody else."
Baekhyun couldn't believe his Grandfather. "What?!"
Chairman Byun nods. "I'm serious, Byun Baekhyun."

The taller looked at Baekhyun like he grew two heads. "Are you really asking me to marry you? Are you insane?"
"It's not like I'm in love with you," Baekhyun said. "I just need you to pretend as my boyfriend, and marry me."
"And why me?"
"Because I know that I will not fall in love with you and same for you," Baekhyun said. "We can get divorce after three years, I will also compensate too."
The taller bit his lower lip thinking. Baekhyun keeps looking at him like he can't wait for his answer.
"Give me a week," his reply. "I need to think about it."
"Fine," Baekhyun said. "One week, Park, you only have a week."
Chanyeol looked away and finished his food while Baekhyun keeps his self busy with his phone again.
