Ei x Yae Miko

Narrator POV~

Ever since the vision hunt decree was abolished, Ei had found herself wandering the streets of Inazuma as people would gaze at her divine presence. Ei would go and buy dango milk, purchase sweets, and do things that the average Inazuman citizen would do, but she was a god, and a god casually eating  candies at random shops was seen as abnormal. Whenever Ei would go to buy her sweets, crowds would form and people would be freaking out to just be anywhere close to the Almighty Shogun. Ei was tired of it.

"I need a way to go out to the streets without gaining an unreasonable amount of attention. I could always ask Miko but... I don't want to bother her," Ei thought to herself as she plotted ways to obtain delicious desserts without people making a scene at her existence. She then had a 'brilliant idea'.

"What if I just dress up as an average civilian?"

The archon quickly went to the Grand Narukami Shrine to look for a good disguise. The shrine was the one of the only places where Ei was not bothered. Plus, Yae Miko was there, and she made the shrine just a bit of a happier place for Ei. She scavenged through the small rooms up in the shrine until she found the perfect disguise.

"This will do, a shrine maidens outfit," Ei apoke to herself while grabbing the clothes and changing. She let her hair, that was usually put into a large braid, down. The archon did not look completely different, but it was good enough.

Ei walked around the busy streets of Inazuma City, stopping by her favorite dango milk stand to grab a sweet drink. Some people had been muttering in the distance saying how she resembled the Raiden Shogun, but nobody made a big fuss over Ei walking around with bags of cake, dango, chocolates, and multiple other desserts. She then glanced at the Yae Publishing House.

Her logn pink hair, her droopy kitsune ears, her soft pinkish lips, Ei was admiring Yae Miko, who was standing next to a pile of books and a Miss Hina figurine. Ei had never fully understood what her feeligns for Yae were, but she found herself walking up to the publishing house.

"The braid suits you more, but you look awfully cute in that shrine maiden outfit," Yae said without hesitation at the sight of Ei.

"Miko, how did you recognize me-"

"Your shrine maiden 'cosplay' isn't that great, love,"

"What is this... 'cosplay' thing?"

Yae sighed and they both had a long conversation about cosplaying and also about why Ei was in a shrine maiden outfit.

"Ei, silly, why didn't you just ask me to get you sweets and I could bring them to your Plane of Euthymia?"

The archon paused, her cheeks going pink as she stared at Yae's lips.

"I didn't want to disturb you, Miko. You seem quite busy with your publishing ho-" Ei was interrupted by Yae Miko kissing her on the lips. It was merely their lips connecting, but both of them were flushed from just a small kiss.

"Seeing you isn't a disturbance, in fact I love seeing you,"

"I love you Miko,"

"I'm glad we share the same feelings, Ei."
