it was a pitch-black night. no traces of humans around. surrounded by the cricket sounds and tall woods that were covered almost for miles. you stomped on the wet moist leaves on the ground as you were running in between the woods. all you could hear was your heavy breathing and cricket sounds from far away.you were running away from someone. you don't know who was it. wiping those sweat pearls from your forehead, you quickly looked back to look at the person that was chasing you. he was nowhere to be found. yet you didn't stop running until you find a place that feels safe.
and as you were running, you saw some ray of light that was tearing up the darkness. a heavy breath of satisfaction left from your mouth. as you fastened up your pace again, a hand grabbed your ankle from behind, making your face hit the ground heavily.
You woke up from your sleep, heavily breathing and sweating, dreaming the same dream that would haunt you each and every time it appears.
Rubbing those sweats off your face, you grabbed the jar of water, gulping everything in one go, wetting your throat completely.
"Fuck" you held your head in frustration thinking about the dream you had a few seconds ago. You really thought you died.
Taking your phone, you checked the time. It was past 8 already. You have school to attend. "Argh" you jumped out of your king-sized bed and into your bathroom to get ready for your school.
Meanwhile...
"You know how to make spaghetti and meatballs?" A middle-aged woman was questioning a young boy who was standing in front of her. Cold expressions were plastered all over her face.
He simply nodded his head as a yes. The woman sighed and got out of the huge ass kitchen. The boy gulped before turning to the stove, and started cooking the breakfast they said.
As soon as he was cooking the noodles, a hand was placed on his shoulder. He turned back immediately and there was another lady with a smile on her face.
"You can manage yourself, son?" She asked, while the boy again nodded his head, staring at her. "What's your name again?" She asked while the boy replied politely.
"Park Jimin," he said, while the lady smiled again. "I'm here to help you. Don't hesitate to ask" she said, before leaving the place to continue her work.
He resumed his work again, focusing on it. And he made them ready on the table while a pair of feet were heading towards the table. Without making any fuss, Jimin rushed inside the kitchen.
Peeking from the inside, he saw a girl around his age, sitting on the chair, back facing him.
He waited for her response from the food he made just now."Eww," Jimin gasped at her frustration. "I asked you to make it spicier," She said, pushing the plate away. "I will wait. Make it spicy." She ordered and a lady carried her plate away from the table.
"Jimin. She needs it to be spicy. Make one again" the lady from before said. Jimin sighed as he looked at the wall clock. "But-" Jimin was cut off by her.
"I will help you, son.." she said, rushing towards the stove. Jimin made it again with her help and he was constantly checking the time. He was running late as well.
After a few minutes, the lady kept the food on the table in front of her. The girl was on her phone all along. "Ma'am, your breakfast is here," the lady said, while the girl took a glance at her food.
Taking the cutlery, she took a bite of her food. As she was chewing it, Jimin was peeking at her back like before. In seconds, the girl got a call from her friend.
"YN, we are waiting in the cafe" the girl stood up from the chair, hearing her friend. "Hey. I will be there in 5" YN said, walking away from the food without even having her second bite.
Jimin saw her leaving the house. She was back facing all the time. His eyes fell on the hot food on the table. And he tilted his face to the lady. She smiles apologetically at Jimin. Before she can grab the food plate, Jimin ran to the table and took it with both of his hands.
"I will have it for my breakfast," Jimin said, lowering his head. "S-sure," the lady said while Jimin ran inside the kitchen with the plate.
Sitting on the cold floor, leaning back on the wall, Jimin started eating the food that you left behind.
A tear escaped from his eyes.

Stepping inside the school, your lips held a lollipop, a smirk on them, your fingers were ruffling your hair, entering the hallway like a boss yourself. People stepped aside from you. Cause if someone crossed you, they would taste some bad causes that you would give them.
Yet your eyes fell on a girl who was reading a book quietly. A scrunchie on her hair grabs your whole attention. Smirking more you walked towards her. Not a second wasted, you pulled out the scrunchie from her. "Ouch" she whisper screamed, holding the back of her hair.
"Did it hurt, baby girl?" You asked, and the scrunchie was on your wrist. "Give it to me," she said, trying to take her scrunchie back. "Aww.. you look so cute when your hair is open," you said, ruffling her hair. She was way too scared of you.
"You want it back, little one?" you asked, showing your wrist to her. She just shook her head as a no, lowering her head. "That's good for you," you said, patting her head. The whole school didn't go unnoticed at this moment.
"Yn.. let's go already," your friend said, entwining your arm with hers. "How cute" you patted her cheek before walking away from the poor girl. Walking a few steps away, she saw you putting her scrunchie inside the trash bin.
