"He passed away"
As Jimin told you, you froze on your spot. You did hear him right but failed to accept it. Breaking the hug, you slowly starred at Jimin who was looking at you with some warm tears covering his eyes. The tears didn't fall on his cheeks.
"You are kidding, right?" You questioned, to which jimin just shook his head as a no. How could he tell a lie at this sensitive topic? "He was ill. That's why he had come to Busan. He wanted me to take care of him. And I did. But nothing worked well for him" As jimin was saying, you fell on your knees, crying harder than ever.
"It-It can't be true. I wanna see him" you were bursting out infront of Jimin. He could do nothing. He just stood there watching you. He doesn't know how to comfort this girl who was ready to throw fists on him. "haraboji" you cried and cried, not knowing what else you could do with your life anymore. It was like your whole world has stopped working. You felt like you have no job to be in this world.
Jimin just left the place without saying anything. You cried for hours on the same place. The feeling of nobody there for you has grown inside you hardly.

Waking up from the cold floor of your room, you barely could see anything around the world. You could feel your puffy red nose and dry cheeks and those eyes that were bawling all through night. Standing on your own, you started getting ready for the school. It was always excited to go school but this time it was hella different and scary to face the world without him in here.
After changing your school uniform, you walked to the dining room while your mom was already sitting there, reading some newspaper. As you got seated on it, you stared at your mom who just stared back at you. She tilted her eyes back to the newspaper, not even noticing your face that was saying a different story to her.
She was caring less than zero and it was evident.
In a few seconds, Jimin was walking towards with the breakfast in his hand. You raised your eyes and stared at him. As he kept the food in front of you, you saw how he bowed at you respectively before going inside the kitchen. You didn't take your eyes off him until your mom cleared her throat.
"It's getting late for you, YN" your mom said, still staring at her newspaper. You sighed, looking at the delicious food he made. You really don't have any appetite or interest to have the food, but you don't wanna waste anything that he made just for you.
You started digging the food, chewing it slowly, gulping down to your throat. It was no way tastier compared to what his grandpa makes, but it did taste different and good.
You turned around to see Jimin who was walking outside to head to school on his bicycle. You sighed and resumed eating, until you finish it all by yourself. You gave her stares often as you couldn't believe how did she hide this huge truth from you. _
