The loud broadcast could be heard throughout the entire town. It was probably amplified through magic or something.
Kazuma - "Hey, what are 'emergency quests'? Are monsters raiding the town?"
Megumin/Darkness - "... Um, it's probably cabbage harvesting. It's the season for them."
Why the heck is harvesting cabbages an emergency quest? What are they gonna do? Fly and hit us?
Kazuma - "Huh? Cabbages? Is that the name of some monster?" How dumb are you Kazuma...
Megumin - "A cabbage is something round, green, and edible." Is he just really dumb or does he not know what cabbage is?
Kazuma - "I know that! Then what's happening? The guild said there was an emergency quest. So do the farmers need help from the adventurers?" Good question.
Aqua - "Ah, Kazuma probably doesn't know. Let me tell you, the cabbages of this world..."
And how does she know? Well, anyways we all went in front of the main gate.
Staff Member - "I apologize for gathering everyone on such short notice! I'm sure everyone knows that the emergency is because of the cabbages! It's time to harvest cabbages! The quality's great this year and each one's worth 10,000 eris!"
10 000 ERIS? I'm gonna be rich in no time. But when I saw the cabbages, I realized it might be harder than I thought.

Are they seriously flying? And that much of them?! I then looked at Kazuma who looked kinda depressed or something.
The brave adventurers charged out in high spirits, with me in the lead of course.
(Y/N) - "GET EM ALL!"
The 'emergency' cabbage hunt quest ended and the entire town began serving dishes made from cabbages.
Kazuma - "Why does a mere cabbage taste so good? I don't get it." Flying cabbages... What a bizarre thing.
Aqua - "You're skilled, Darkness! As expected of a Crusader! The cabbages couldn't break through your iron-wall defense no matter what they did." I killed over 25 cabbages and she is complementing her?!
Darkness - "No, I didn't do much, I'm just really tough. I'm clumsy and slow so I can't really hit my target; my only strong point is shielding others... Megumin has an impressive offense. You took out the horde of monsters that were chasing the cabbages right into town with just one explosion attack; all the other adventurers were shocked."
Megumin - "Kuku, no one could stand up to the power of my explosion magic... But (Y/N) was the most active one, he picked me up after I exhausted my mana and carried me back. And he also did a lot of damage to them."
Aqua - "... Yeah, when I was surrounded by cabbages and monsters, (Y/N) showed up and captured all the cabbages attacking me, unlike Kazuma who did almost nothing... "
