Part Three: returning home

Nothing sucks more than getting caught in the act, even when there was no act. Sitting in the living room, just me, Alex, and my mom was by far the most awkward 15 minutes of my life. My mother finally decided to break the tension.... with a chainsaw , "So..... how long have you been intimate and who are you?" And of course Alex may have been a SSS rank goddess but what is a goddess to a mom, all see could manage was "I-I am Alexandra and I am your son's fiancé" scared that she might faint I instinctively grabbed her shoulder " mom sorry nothing happened we're here because I have to get some stuff from my human school and Lex is tagging along, sorry" my mom crossed her legs ''ok, but don't think you'll be sleeping in the same room 'Lex', time for me to see what kinda girl my future daughter in law is going to be" as she takes her away I get in bed and fall asleep only to wake the next morning to the familiar sounds of Alex snoring at the end of my bed and my mom in the doorway with a piece of her hair burned " Maybe it's better if she sleeps in your room just...no funny business, hurry up and get ready for school" causing me to turn red and leaving me silent as she leaves and I get up and get dressed. "Ahem,....." Alex calls to me from behind as I finish putting on my shirt "Did u forget I will be going as well?". Once we arrived at the school and met up with Eric and Samantha other students noticed our return and immediately greeted Eric and Samantha and then the humiliation began "Look the weakest mage is back" someone said as he attempted to throw high level water magic at me only to have it be easily evaporated by Alex who was boarder-line steaming.

"How the hell did you do that, that was my best water spell and was A-tier non-lethal magic" the student looked at Alex confused "And who the hell are you anyway" a female student spoke up but Alex ignored them all suggesting we get what we came for and leave as both her and I try to walk away the male student tries to grab her hand. "Dude, don't...." Eric warns but to everyone's surprise it isn't Alex that reacts but me as before a millisecond can pass I have him pinned against a wall and I am lifting him up by his throat " You Dare!" Confused, one of the male students tries to free his friend "you got balls nerd" not even noticing him, he gets flung back by lighting, before I could lose control I then feel something hugging me from behind and hear Alex's voice " Calm your storm...." I then release the student who falls to the floor coughing as I regain my senses, I see Mr.Lockhart "You're still a hard-ass I see. Guess the cats out of the bag... listen up! Every student here is to meet in the Gym for a fully confidential informative assignment tomorrow" meaning if anyone here talks about what they just witnessed, I'll take you out myself." And with that a few moments later everyone who was present then was assembled in the gym and had everything explained. While that was happening in a different room, I gathered my things into a bag. "I guess we'll have to wait till tomorrow to leave" I said remembering Mr.Pathsmen said he could only do it once a day.

The Next Day students stayed away from me, more so than normal "Freak...." I heard one say as all students who were present yesterday assembled in Mr. Lockhert's office when he stepped in and the Boy who I choked steps up " Why isn't that freak behind bars for assault?!" Mr. Lockhert pull out a flask and sips from it "Good question, let's see could it be because he has better connections than u, that his magic rank far exceeds that of anyone in the room with the exception of his little girlfriend there, or perhaps it's because I didn't feel like it. Let's be real kid u tried to bully him like old times and got your ass handed to you." As he places his hand on the boy's shoulder, the boy swats away his hand "Him, outrank me, yeah right, and the girl MUST be taking pity on him. How bout this u against us in a duel? Since you greatly outrank us it should be easy" I look at Mr. Lockhert "Go on, their never gonna respect you if you if keep going easy on them." He says in response than I try Alex and that was a bad idea cause her reply was "Crush em" then the room started growing till we were all in a large white room. "Seeing as you have issued the challenge you may make the rules and terms, but since you far outnumber him, he is allowed a partner, got it Cyle." Lockhert told him "Fine, the rules are simple all of us vs all of you two, the so called Power couple" before I could speak Alex stepped forward "Hey Old man,...Is Lethal Force like back at our school" Lockhert takes a sip of his flask "It's fine, in here it's impossible to be fatally wounded but it'll still hurt like hell and once we leave all wounds return to normal.....Old man" he said taking another sip.
