Part 4: Training Begins

"Like I said earlier I am Death, eldest of the Four Horsemen, Ender of Life, etc., etc. For centuries my siblings and I have kept the existence of deities a secret from mankind's warring eyes and you five reveal it all in two days, and now, nations are demanding we return students to their respective capitals which is a nice way of saying that they want to turn you kids into military weapons. But luckily I knew this would happen and came up with a plan, which I presented to the United Nations: A Mock Battle, 6 of the World's Best Black Ops military mages vs. 6 students total from the four schools around the globe." I look bewildered " What you said 4 schools there's more than this one" as her butler pushed a chair behind as she sat and crossed her leg "Yes there are Four School total, each is managed by a different Horsemen as we speak my brothers and sister are on their way with there selected students, I already have 2, War said he has 1, Fury said she had 2, and Strife said he's got his ready" though I knew the answer I still asked "Who have you chosen?" as she sat down behind her desk, "First how bout you call me Dr. Muertos, second let's no play coy, you know who I picked" as she looked at me and Alex "you two started this so you fix it since the mock battle is 4 months away that will give you time to train and get to know your teammates, which will be here shortly"

After our talk with Dr.Muertos we were taken to a room to meet our teammates once they arrived. After 30 minutes or so a tall man entered the room follow by a young lady who then leaned against the wall, when he saw me he looked straight into my eyes and in doing so I looked into his and I knew they had seen many battles and had many experiences "So your the one my sister tells me about, hmmmmm this should be interesting, I am Famine. Hey brat, come say hello to your teammates!" The girl leaning against the wall stood forward, "Yeah, yeah, name's Isabella just call me Izzy, I'm the Nordic goddess of the winter Skadi...you?" Me and Alex looked at each other then Alex spoke up " I'm Alexandria and this is Darius, I'm the Polynesian goddess of Volcanoes and Darius is Raijin the Japanese God of Thunder and Lightning, nice to meet u" as Alex stuck her hand out for a greeting Izzy didn't shake it "hmmmm sir I'd like to test them in battle" she asked her Dean "Mmmmm I see no problem with it, let's call it sparring among teammates, I'll be the ref" as we each took a ready stance, I looked at Alex unsure of what to do, she nodded summoning her volcanic daggers and Izzy grinned and responded by summoning a Icy Spear and she then spoke tapping the floor with the spear three times "Kaldur, it is time to hunt" then from the spot she tapped a large ice wolf grew as I looked at Izzy her eyes were now glowing an Icy blue. Alex rushed her with a lunge but it immediately became clear Izzy was a trained fighter as she easily disarmed and restricted Alex's movements with a mixture of her abilities and martial arts.

I was easily defeated as she had me on the ground before I even knew what happened. "Seems you two need some serious combat training" Izzy said as she held her hand out "I'll say, the lad couldn't even get himself outta simple grappling move" as I turned towards the voice I saw a muscular young man with red hair "Great another bully" was the first thing I thought till Izzy greeted and introduced him letting us now the he and her were old friends but he went to a separate school "Everyone this is Vagus Grandfield a.k.a Cú Chúlainn, he's like an Irish Achilles " Vagus walked up to me and greeted me with and huge bear hug " Yup, I think this one has potential" as he said that two figures appeared behind him "Figure's you would take interest in the useless one" a young man spoke "I on the other hand am more interested in this beautiful flower" he said as he looked at Alex "your name is....?" To which she replied "Not Interested." With a confused look he tried again "wait are you sure you didn't hear me. "Stop it, Max your embarrassing yourself, your charm has no effect on someone who is in love let alone a goddess of passion " the second figure spoke up, " Max is the reincarnation of Thanatos as odd as it may sound he's a bit of a ladies man and I am Kathy, I'm the reincarnation of the God of Darkness, Erebus and don't worry I'm not evil, contrary to belief, darkness is just as necessary as light and can be just as beautiful, you can't have one without the other."

"Well know that we're all introduced. I'd like to know why my dean had that freaky lady bring me here" Vargus spoke up. Then Dr.Muertos appeared from the shadows out of nowhere "Simple, because I asked him to" Max stood in awe "Why hello there...." Dr. Muertos gave him a stare then brushed him off and I think that wounded his pride as he snapped "HEY, WOMAN DON'T IGNORE ME !! DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM, I'M THE GOD OF DEAT-" before he could finish his sentence we all felt a shiver go down our spines as the doctor spoke "My name is Dr.Muertos I am not here to stroke your sad small ego child, I am here to train you and to make sure you don't get turned into military weapons and as for the whole "God of Death" thing,....I don't remember having a god.'' Just then Famine spoke up "Welp enjoy your new coach Izzy" he said as he smiled cowardly as he teleported away to escape his older sister. Max just stood there Frozen in fear, as did everyone except Me and Alex which surprised as how could the two of us, who couldn't even fight handle the pressure of such a being and Dr.Muertos gave them the answer "As you now know there are four schools for reincarnated gods all around the world each school differentiates on what kinds of God's are in the school for example Thanatos and Erebus are at Furies school because of there dark natured abilities, Skadi is at Strife's academy due to her skills as a Hunter ,Cu Chúlainn..need I really explain why you are at War's academy. "Then explain what your school is for because those two are so weak even the freshman of my school can beat them" Izzy asked as Dr.Muertos looked at Alex and I "That would be my doing, I meant to weaken them to a level that I can manage." Confused, Vargus asked "Why?" With a plain look Dr.Muertos replied "Did you know my academy doesn't existence in the same plane as the other three do you want to know why.....its cuz the students there are so powerful if even one lost control on Earth, the number of casualties would be in the millions and these are two of them meet Raijin, Japanese God of Thunder and Lightning and Pele, Polynesian Goddess of Volcanoes, while u Four are going to be practicing for a while they are going into my brother War's "Drill Training" the moment she said that I saw Vargus shiver with a chill "There are two rooms, one for the ladies and gentlemen, the Muses will show you to them. Alex and Darius, I was watching your little sparring match as punishment for the loss. Your training starts early ... .as in now, you go meet my brother in the gym and start training.
