War was nothing like what I'd thought he'd be, he was calm and quiet and to be honest he reminded me of a 40 year old war veteran, when we found him he was in the gym room meditating "You two must be the ones Death told me about, I was watching your match with Skadi and you both need work luckily we have 4 months to train you. I'd like to get started with you first Raijin since you have the least amount of combat experience but greatest potential, firstly as you have probably noticed by now everyone has a kind of weapon. So do you, close your eyes and think, try to visualize your weapon and make it real." I did as he asked and closed my eyes than I started thinking about my weapon and all I kept thinking about were two escrima sticks with electrified tips, they kinda reminded me of drumsticks. War stepped forward saying "Ah escrima sticks, perfect for fast and quick close range combat interesting I would have figured u for a long range type". Just then I start tapping the stick together toying with them a bit as electric chaining the sticks together and I tapped them again and a bolt of lightning shot pass War. He looked back at the burn mark on the wall behind him and nodded "Mmmmm interesting.... So your both, seems like your gonna need a exclusive course in both close, long and magic combat, me and you are gonna get best friends" War had a huge grin on his face when he said this. "I'm gonna make u into the best fighter in the four academies." as he in I walked into a pocket dimension he created for my training.
Three months had passed since Alex and I met the other academy students and Dr.Muertos had decided it was time to get a review of our skills and brought everyone to see the potential we have. Izzy and the rest of the academy students from the other schools entered the pocket dimension that me and Sam had been in for the last 3 months with War. Vagus shivered as he got flashbacks of his day here, "Geez aren't u supposed to be the strong man it can't be that bad here" Max said as Vagus shivered with fear. "Aye, little man this place isn't what I fear.......it's him and his nightmarish training" Vagus replied as War appeared saying " Oh come on, Vagus our 3 hour sessions weren't that bad" just then Katy asked "Wait if 3 hours a day did that to Vagus and made him that strong what about Sam and Darius" as she said the the earth shook and a opened up as lava erupted "WHAT'S HAPPENING!? Isn't this a pocket dimension" shouted Max "Ah yes I forgot to mention they grew restless waiting on you and decided to spar with me." Just then to from one of the lava pits Sam erupted charging a War with her daggers spinning like a screw, War side stepping as he narrowly dodged the attack, but her attack wasn't done as she followed up with a flurry of agile and acrobatic slashes and kicks. Izzy and the rest of the students look in awe as the girl they saw fight 3 months ago was nowhere to be seen only a experienced and focused fighter, none of her movements didn't have a purpose it was as though watching a performance "Wait were is the weak one...." Max asked. "Yeah I haven't seen him once.....he's prolly hidden somewhere" Izzy said as Dr. Muertos snickered saying "Geez Brother, I told you train the boy not make potentially the greatest fighter in academy history....". Confused Izzy asked " Ummm Ma'am....?" Looking back a but "Seems you still haven't noticed "as she pointed her finger up as they looked up in awe seeing me sitting on a Thundercloud I created spinning my escrima sticks as I stood up and leapt off thunder crashing towards war from above, dive bombing him with incredible speed as I plummet toward War and Alex. Noticing this Vagus shouted "LOOK OUT!" but my attack was far too quick as I slammed down with meteor-like force so strong Dr.Muertos had to shield the students. As the dust cleared, War still stood but now in a defensive stance after blocking my attack, Sam was nowhere to be seen. "Did ...... he just kill his own fiancé" Izzy said while she staggered to get up from the recoil of the blast "Now Lex.... " I whispered as a dagger with a lava robe wrapped itself around War's leg restraining him as I dashed at him attacking with a flurry of aggressive attacks and Alex appear from her lava once more joining her beloved as we combined our attacks synergizing our assaults effortlessly till finally we had completely restrained War a dagger and escrima stick at his neck. Panting with his hands up "That good enough sis."
With a satisfied grin Dr.Muertos said "Perfect....." Max walked up to me as an attempt to size me up or intimidate me, as he showed his jet black wings " I think he's still nothing special, just another walking battery charger that's called a god" finally having enough of been pushed around I calmly smiled and placed my hand on his shoulder. Then I replied calmly with a smile " need a charge?" I must have been oozing my anger, cuz not only was Max pale with fear both Vargus, Izzy, And Katy had summoned their weapons and where shaking. War stepped in and removed Max from me as he fell to the floor in shock. " I guess u understand the true meaning of the term " the calm before the storm now" Vargus spoke finally after sheathing his spear "Aye, I've never felt power like that in my life what was that", "THAT was the power of a elemental deity, being that both Darius and Lex here are gods with authorities over certain powerful and dangerous parts of nature they should be feared and respected" Izzy felt both confused and insulted due to the fact that she was the goddess of winter, " So then what am I" War replied " well while u are powerful compared to Lex and Darius who can potentially reshape entire maps your a lone wolf fighting a tiger" "But with more train your dean has told me u are in line to be transferred to my school" Dr.Muertos added
