“Luke, he had the same condition, Cognitive muscular disorder. Um, he got diagnosed at 14 months and unfortunately was in 4th stage which was not at all going good for us. He passed away shortly after his 2nd birthday, couldn’t keep him more to us.”

“I am so sorry to hear that, Diana”, Liam said.

“Yes, Appreciate it”

“Was money a factor? I mean would money raised, have saved him?”, Harry asks while keeping his cup aside.

“CMD requires injection, which are costly, around eighty thousand pounds per one and it is three injection per year for sustaining. CMD is all about sustaining till you can. For Luke, he was correctly diagnosed at a far later stage where those injections wouldn’t have been much a blessing for him. One injection could have like released the pressure of his muscles from the heart but his body was already giving up. So, Harry, I don’t think like, money was the only factor in Luke’s case. If he would have had diagnosed like at an early stage, things could have been different then.”

“Okay. Sorry to know that diagnosis could not have been done earlier.”, Harry said.

“But with the organisation I work for, we have been raising money for these kids suffering with CMD which happens like to one kid in a million, and those diagnosed at early stage, three of them, doing perfect with those rounds of injections, you know. Plus money is also being routed to research and analysis so that one day, no kid passes due to late diagnosis. ”

“God Bless it, Diana”,  Louis said folding his hands.

“And you all will as well be contributing now, even though indirectly, but yes, it will help them you know”

“I am so sure your little boy will be so proud of you.”, Niall added.

“isn’t it his birthday today as well?”, Louis asks

“Yes, it is, it is his 4th birthday today. He is definitely a blessing in my life. They say, you change the course of your life when your soul gets hit the most, Luke and his life is that for me. It made me leave the life which was just a compromise and has set me free and I feel he came because I wouldn’t have done this, if not for him”, I replied while holding back tears.

Zayn then asks me,” Can I give you a hug?”

“Sure, appreciate that Zayn”

*Zayn gets up, walks towards and hugs Diana*

“I am doing this only because of Luke and his mama”, he whispers to me.

“I really appreciate you all for doing this today, you know, how much time you all are taking out and this definitely is going to grab us a lot of profit.”

“You need some water or anything else?”, Harry enquires.

“No, I am okay, Thanks Harry.”

“What can help her, is a joke Harry, if you don’t mind Diana, would you like to hear one of Harry’s classics?”, Louis interjects with his demands.

“I would love to!”, I play in to ease the tension.

“You love to put me in spot, don’t you?”, Harry asks derisively pointing his finger to Louis,  ”Diana, I feel your questions would be much better.”

“No, I want to hear a joke as well Harry, please!”, Liam makes his puppy face while asking Harry.

“Alright, this one is for Diana, it is a knock-knock one, Niall, up for it?”, Harry gives in.

“Sure, my favourites.”, Niall says it with a straight face.

“Knock, knock”

“Who’s there?”
