"Nandini, '' he says, making her jump from her chair.

She says" yes sir

Manik: What are you doing here in my cabin? And what are you doing on the laptop? He stares intensely in her eyes

Nandini: sir woh, cabir sir sent me to make a presentation on the customer reviews of the clients coming after 3 days. So he suggested that I work here , and so that's why I am making a presentation .

Manik thinks god, cabirr! Ohh wow so now she will be for that Aryman yess. I owe you a drink cabir . And smirks!

Nandini is still wondering what's cooking in his head.

Manik moves towards her, and she starts moving backwards gazing intensely in her eyes . Her back hits the wall and she is caged between his arms. He caresses her arms slightly , and Nandini closes her eyes, feeling the close proximity between them and she shivers on her whole body feeling his touch .

He whispers into her ears, his lips almost touching her ears , and says" I think you should button up your shirt, I don't want anyone to look at you nastily".

She opens her eyes and looks intensely in his eyes . He smirks how just by being close to affects her so much. He tucks a loose hair strand falling on her beautiful face behind her ears .

Nandini's pov

How does he always look so hot? And why is he so close to me and why can't I push him backwards. Why is his touch affecting me so much ? The mole on the corner of his lips, his brown eyes are so intense . But this is wrong, yesterday he was hooking up and the lift scene. How can I forget this monster ?

Nandini pushes him little away and tells him,

Nandini : "sir please I think I should get back to work, and I am not like a random girl from the bar with whom you got hooked up with.

she was trying to move away but he caught her wrist and she collided with his chest , his eyes were red again.

Manik: "Why does it bother you if I sleep or hookup?

Nandini: It doesn't, so it shouldn't matter to you if I have dinner or sleep with anyone too.

Hearing this sentence Manik holds on her wrist hot so tight the thought of her sleeping with someone was boiling him with anger .

He looks at her angrily and twists her arm behind her back, she hisses in pain and says sir, leave my hand

Manik: Don't you dare say those words to me , he was fuming with anger his eyes were blood red .Her wrist was aching bad she was hissing in pain, he left her wrist and barged out of his cabin.

She had tears in her eyes, and was looking at the wrist that had marks of his hand the red ones . She looks up and says " I hate you manik malhotra", tears in her eyes and anger in heart.

Manik sits on his chair with red eyes and frown on his head, he heard sobs of nandini and his head turns towards Nandini and saw her crying
His eyes towards her hand which turned red he felt so guilty for being so harsh to her.

Manik pov
Manik what the fuck is wrong with you how can u hurt a girl in anger
This anger of mine will ruin me for sure as mom said damn!

Manik takes a cream from first aid kit and goes towards Nandini
Nandini saw Manik near her

Nandini: You have come  to hurt me more
Manik turns her chair and kneels down and takes her hand and applied cream softly

Manik: I'm sorry for hurting you in anger I don't know , I really lost it I can't do this to you .

She thinks that god, abhi tak itna gussa ab itna sweet. Bipolar hai kya?

Manik clicked fingers breaking her out of her thoughts .
Manik took her wrist caressing it lightly , looked into her eyes and said can we start fresh? Please.

Nandini thinks for a while, she thinks that this job is really important to her and she doesn't want any more complications in her life . So she nodded to him. He gave a light smile and

Manik: u can leave for today and regarding the presentation we can discuss it tomorrow

Nandini: ok

Nandini takes her bag and moves out and goes near Sharon. She lied that she took a leave because she wasn't feeling well. So Sharon gave her keys and told her to take rest .

Starlight Apartments

Nandini opens the door and goes inside. She freshens up and has her lunch. And decides to decorate her room.

Nandini Room:

She takes the light and neatly decorates every corner and after 2hrs she was done with it

Nandini says to herself, Not bad Ms. Murthy this is pretty good.

After decorating her room { her fav corner where she sits and read , beside the window her bed and in-front of  it huge floor length mirror and her washroom)

On the other hand , manik was lost in his thoughts and cabir enters and

Cabir: nandini kahan hai?"

He snaps out of his thoughts after hearing her name

Manik; haan nandini ? Kaha hai kya ?

Cabir: arey kya hua bro nandini ka naam sunke itna kyu utavla horaha hai"?

Manik: nothing at all

Cabir: oh common don't give me the intern crap, you are definitely lost in her thoughts and I have never seen you thinking about someone like this . What's cooking?

Manik: Shut Up ok, and anyways hershey's company manger is coming so nandini is making presentations lets get doing with the other meeting chal.

Cabir: ok fine! Karle deny but aayega toh tu mere paas hi.

Manik : rolls his eyes, and thinks is cabir right? God what is she doing to me!
