I was awoken by the sound of my alarm at 7am. I hadn't got home from work until 2am, so I was running on approximately 4 hours sleep.
Ugh...
I finally pulled myself out of bed and headed for the bathroom. Turning the shower temp to cold, I quickly stepped in, hoping it would do the trick.
After I had finished I exited the bathroom and picked out my outfit for the day: some leggings and an oversized hoodie. Casual. I was too tired for anything else.
I looked at the clock. 7:41. My first class started at 8. I rushed out of the door, safe in the knowledge that I'd be done for the day at 12. Just enough time to get in a few hours of sleep before work tonight.

I decided to do something different with my makeup for work today. A shimmery gold liner and a nude lip. I convinced myself that I was just in the mood to try something new. However, I couldn't deny the thoughts in the back of my brain, telling me that Edward could possibly come back to the bar tonight. I also decided to wear my hair down tonight. No reason...
I opened the door to the oh so familiar sound of the bell. Tom, Lily and Melanie were already on shift. It must have been around 7 pm. The place felt... different though. The music was playing louder than usual. And it wasn't the usual smooth jazz playlist that I'd become accustomed to. Talking Heads I think it was? The sort of stuff my dad had played for Dani and I growing up. I turned my head to the front of the bar only to be met by the gaze of Will. He stood from his chair quickly when he saw me, a glass of whisky in hand.
"(Y/N)!"
I looked back at Lily and the others, each of them giving me a slightly worried look.
"Hi sir! Everything okay?" I asked, skeptical as to what was going on here.
At this point he had grabbed my hand and pulled me into him.
"Will you do me the honour of dancing with me, (Y/N)?"
"Hmm... sure" I said hesitantly, letting out a light giggle.
I discarded my bag on the floor and Will was quick to grab both my hands, spinning me around, guiding me with his feet. I couldn't help but laugh in enjoyment. This was the most fun I'd had in weeks. How sad.
We continued to dance until Will eventually placed his hand on my lower back and pulled me in closer to him, his lips just millimetres from my right ear.
"Y'know... I'm really glad you applied here". He whispered.
His hand moved lower down my body, grazing my ass and my upper thighs. I felt his body stiffen, mine did too... except mine was from fear. I could smell the liquor oozing from his skin.
As if an angel had come to save me, the door opened and the sound of the bell made Will pull away from me. I turned to look.
Edward.
Will patted me on the back and turned to address all of us.
"I'm heading out. Be good guys. Make me lots of money".
He winked at me and left through the front door. I turned back to Lily and the others behind the bar.
"I... erm... I'm just gonna put my stuff in my locker. I'll be back in a minute to take you off Mel".
