"But, I love you"

Ciara arrived at Jenny's house in her Mam's car.

"Right," her Mammy turned to look at her, "I know that I was the one who told you to wear this but-"

"Mammy," Ciara groaned and rolled her eyes.

"I'm serious. No messing about, like." Donnagh looked at her daughter with firm eyes, "understand?"

Ciara had already started to get out of the car, "yes Mammy, I love you. Bye!" With that, she closed the car door behind her. Taking a deep breath, she took her first steps towards Jenny's house. The confidence was obvious, she looked good and she knew it.

Michelle beckoned her over once she was inside.

"You look so hot!" Michelle exclaimed looking all the way up and down her outfit.

Ciara gave a big grin, "thank you. I try." She flipped her hair and twirled around in a circle.

Ciara was probably closest to Michelle. They've always had a bond that she hasn't had with anyone else. She loves all of her friends but Michelle was definitely the one she could go to with anything, which is why it was killing her to not tell her about her massive crush on her cousin.

Erin was making her way over to the girls when Michelle announced,

"The size of this fucking house!"

Erin looked troubled then calm as she said, "you look amazing Ciara!" Ciara did a small twirl to show off but stopped when Erin's face turned serious,

"Listen, I think James might be in real trouble."

Ciara's eyes bulged from her head, "what?" She shrieked and began to stand on her toes to look around for James.

Michelle took a second, "right. I'm struggling to give a shit if I'm honest." Unlike Ciara, Michelle didn't care about James' welfare that much.

Erin still hadn't told her what was wrong with James. She was beginning to panic, her eyes were wide and she had totally forgotten that she was meant to be looking confident and hot.

She became distracted when Clare walked into the party wearing a Union Jack t-shirt, "shit!" Ciara breathed.

"Hi, girls," Clare smiled with her hands on her hips, her friends standing around her in shock and fear. Ciara stepped to the side a bit, to cover herself from more of the party.

"Have you got a Union Jack splashed across your tits, Clare?" Michelle snapped snarkily.

It's physically impossible to wear a Union Jack to a party like this and make it out alive. Catholics were not so fond of the British, so when they see the flag, they crack. Clare was sure to be beaten up by the end of the night.

Clare's friends' faces said it all. They were not impressed. It's hard enough to keep up with them all as it is, never mind one at risk of being beaten up.
