(Hello! birb here. This AU is basically where all characters are human (but still NOT real people) and can only do human things.)

Zlobert Experience liked to think he was a simple, good man. He had a boyfriend and a kid, and he lived in a 3 bedroomed house in B-aha-rnet, a small town on the outskirts of London. He tended to be less social than his f-aha-mily, spending more time playing Truly Bedrock, drawing, or editing the rec-aha-p.

Pix? Riffs was, in Zloy's opinion, the best man in the bloody world. He'd have to be, as he put up with their child, Alistore (Alice for short) since the day she was found on their doorstep. Alice was a curious, excitable child with a love of fiddling with their technology. By the age of five, they were at college-level skills! Their mother was a technology major at college, and after a one night stand that was heavily regretted when Zloy sobered up and remembered he was gay (the girl was pressuring him very badly) the child was dropped off after 9 months. By that time, Pix and Zloy were dating, and so they took in Alice as their own.

Sadly, Zloy's pricks of parents didn't. You'd think aha-fter neglecting their eldest to spoil his younger sister, he would have cut them out of his life, right? Unfortunatly, Cleo was a sweet angel who Zloy couldn't say no to, and he kept in contact, minimal as it was. But Zloy's parents were covinced that Alistore was the result of their mother's many hookups and one-night stands.

"Alice, darling, can you get in the car? You need a shot, and your parents are busy today," Greta Experience asked her granchild.

"Yes Nana! Coming!" called out the five year old, as the woman smiled strangely.

Zloy and Pix were out shopping for Alice's birthday present- a piece of technology she might struggle with. This would be very expensive, as Alice was a protogy.

"Is it just me, or is something shifty going on?"

"Probably my parents. They're hella shady."

"Yeah, probably."

Alistore whimpered as the doctor pushed the needle into her arm. Her grandparents did nothing, simply ignoring the five-year-old.

When the kid stood up, their grandfather took their place, hissing as the needle pierced skin. Alice looked away, clutching her grandmother's hand, but was quickly removed after the man stood up.

"Lets go, the results will be back soon," Ivan said, dragging his family away from the hospital. "Oh, and Alice?"

"Yes Grandpa?"

"There's no need to tell your Dad or Papa."

The six people stood around the table, with the large cake in front of them. Pixl picked up the c-aha-rving knife and guided his child's hand to hold it with him. Carefully, the two relatives cut into the icing and cake, while Zloy and his sister clapped. Greta and Ivan, however, were scowling at the newly 6 year old.

Leaning under the table, the eldest person in the room reached under the table and pulled out another cake. Written upon it were the words 'We Told You So!'. His wife snatched up the knife and eagerly cut open the cake, revealing a brown paper package.

"A DNA test," Ivan explained. "To prove Alice isn't your kid."

"No matter the genes, Alice will ALWAYS be our child!" Pix answered angrily, with Cleo nodding in the background. He wrapped an arm around the shaking girl as his boyfriend snached the letter from his father.

Peeling open the paper, two vials and a letter fell out. Cleo picked up the letter while Zloy grabbed the vials, so they didn't shatter on the floor. Upon unfolding the letter, Cleo let out a muffled gasp, and then a shreik of excitement. As she dropped the paper, Pixl picked it up and read it, grinning maniacally. A few quick whispers to his lover, and the man showed the letter to his daughter. The youngest then dramatically flipped the cake so it was facing their grandparents, who stalked off sulking. But not even angry parents could ruin this moment for them. It was aha-mazing.
