Falling petals pt.2

T.W.Depression,some cursing/swearing

A similar cycle went on for a few days later.Bakugou became more isolated,more depressed.

Time log : 19 April

Once school was over,bakugou storms off straight into his room and locks himself in there.He would come out for dinner but his portion intake has been reduced by half of what he usually eats.Bakugou would lock himself in his room and study for hours til end.Bakugou would occasionally talk to the bakusquad when they swarm around him and annoy the living hell out of him.But they wouldn't hang out as much as what they did with him,Bakugou would always see them walking away all happy and energetic.

One day,when he was at the kitchen for dinner,he heard a little conversation going on behind him.

"I heard that midoriya got bullied by....that jerk in middle school.*kero*" Tsuyu whispered

"I've heard about it too ! It must be so hard to live a life like yours,Izuku !"Uraraka whined

Izuku raised an eyebrow and just shrugs the tension off by laughing . "It's ok guys! It's all in the past,it's no big deal at all!"

"It is a big deal !look at him,he is all angry and mean not only to you,but everyone as well !" Uraraka complained,this isn't the first time she said such a thing like that.

The Dekusquad turned their heads towards todoroki,signalling him to say something.

Todoroki blinked a few times in confusion but eventually spoke "I believe that whatever is in the past stays in the past.Even though Midoriya has been bullied by Bakugou,People can grow and learn from their mistakes."

Bakugou scoffs while he focuses on finishing his dinner.

Those stupid extras.I don't give a damn of what they think. Their not important to me anyways.

Bakugou speeds up his chewing and finishes his dinner quickly.He then wanders off back into his dorm room.

Bakugou face palms into his pillow for a minutes or so before he gets up and picks his phone up.He checks the time and sees it is 7 pm.Katsuki sighs and scrolls on his phone til midnight.

Why is he up so late in the night,you may ask ? Well,katsuki wanted to wait til exactly 12(00:00 on phone.) since it would turn the day day already which is 20 April,his birthday.

Earlier,he already stored a small cake and some other stuff in his mini fridge at his room.

11:59 pm....

Katsuki drifts off to his mini fridge and prepares the cake with a candle on top.He took a lighter and brought the items to his study table.He checks the time once more.

00:00  am.

Katsuki smiles a bit and checks his inbox,expecting happy birthday wishes from his peers and maybe even his parents.To his disappointment,there were no messages sent to him.

Katsuki shakes it off.

..Maybe it's still too early.I'll check in the morning..I suppose.

A single tear rolled down his katsuki's cheek.People may forget his birthday,but definitely not his close friends.Right ? Not his parents....RIgHt ?

Katsuki bit his lip as he uses the lighter to light up the candle on the cake.Bakugou gazes at the flame on the candle for a while,mesmerising the beauty of the little flame.

Katsuki took a deep breath and then started singing happy birthday to himself,all alone in his room.
