As the Anant family returned to their lavish mansion, Bhav couldn't help but feel a sense of emptiness. Sure, he was excited about his best friend Jayjay's upcoming wedding, but it was still five months away. That felt like an eternity, especially considering how much he was going to miss Jayjay when he moved out with his husband Vivek.

Bhav lay on his stomach on his bed, scrolling through his phone, trying to find something to pass the time. He felt a wave of sadness wash over him, imagining a future where he wouldn't get to see Jayjay every day like he used to. It wasn't fair that his friend was getting married at such a young age, but that was just how things were in the new world.

Bhaveshwar was feeling bored. With school on holiday break for a week, he found himself with a lot of free time on his hands. He couldn't help but feel a little sad that his best friend Jayjay was busy with wedding preparations and wouldn't be able to hang out with him for a while.

But then there was Parth. Bhav had a love-hate relationship with his older brother. On one hand, he couldn't stand Parth's cocky smirk, deep voice, and dominant personality. On the other hand, he was inexplicably drawn to Parth's confidence and strength.

Bhav rolled over to the edge of the bed and swung his feet to the floor. He decided that he would go and annoy Parth, just for the fun of it. As he walked down the hall to Parth's room, he couldn't help but feel a little thrill of excitement. He loved riling up his older brother, and seeing his reactions. It was like a game to him.

They had a complicated relationship. Bhav loved and hated Parth at the same time. Parth had a certain confidence about him that made Bhav feel both drawn to him and repelled at the same time. It was like a push-pull dynamic that they both couldn't seem to shake off.

As Bhav pushed open the door to Parth's room, he was greeted by a solitary figure on the bed, scrolling through his phone. Parth looked up as the door creaked open, revealing a smiling Bhav.

Without a word, Bhaveshwar walked over to the bed and hopped up onto it, sitting beside Parth. The older brother raised an eyebrow at the unexpected intrusion.

"What are you doing here, brat?" Parth asked, his voice laced with amusement.

Bhav shrugged nonchalantly and leaned in to rest his head on Parth's shoulder, snuggling closer to the crook of the older brother's neck.

"You smell good," Bhav commented, taking in Parth's scent.

Parth couldn't help but feel a little surprised by Bhav's uncharacteristic display of affection. He was used to the younger boy acting bratty and childish around him, not cuddling up to him like a kitten.

"Hey, what's up with you today?" Parth asked, genuinely curious.

Bhav lifted his head up and looked at Parth with a puzzled expression.

"What do you mean?"

"You're not being bratty today," Parth explained, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of his mouth.

Bhav huffed and rolled his eyes. "Shut up, ugly. I'm just bored and tired."

"Ah, I see," Parth nodded, returning his attention to his phone.

Bhav shifted a little, trying to get more comfortable, and then spoke up again.

"Oh, also, my birthday is coming up soon. You better give me something nice, or I'll be really mad at you, Omkar," Bhav warned, trying to sound tough.

Parth chuckled softly. "Don't worry, doll. I'll get you something nice. And maybe you'll lose something too?"

Bhav scrunched up his face in confusion. "Lose something? What am I going to lose?"
