10 - a glimpse of death

- Sora PoV -

The room was filled with the most awkward tension after Jungwon's confrontation. We're all in our separate spaces sitting down as Jungwon and Jay (the unofficial leaders) map out the school for a way for us to easily leave.

"I will never forgive you." Shook everyone to their core. The way Jungwon sounded was so frightening compared to his everyday happy-go-lucky persona. Harin didn't dare to argue back at him.

Instead, from across the room, she glares me down hating me simply because she's jealous. She made it clear to everyone in this room that she likes Jungwon, and Jungwon made it clear that they once had something.

A dummy could even read in-between the lines.

"Despite us probably going to be eaten by zombies, I can die alive knowing that Jungwon and Harin had their fling and that's it," Eunwoo says with a happy grin.

"What? You think Harin is going to run into your arms?" Seeun laughs at him.

Eunwoo poses, "I'm hot and sexy."

"Not like Jungwon though," she makes fun making Eunwoo sulk. "He just looked 10x hotter right now. We've never seen him THAT pissed off."

Eunwoo nods agreeing, "We thought we've seen him mad last Monday, but no.. this tops it."

"Last Monday?" I question remembering that day. The day Jia and her posse of hyenas dumped mop water on top me. The day that I went off on Jungwon, and the day he came and "rescued" me.

"You left early, but when Jungwon came back to class ooo wee did he look mad," Eunwoo explains.

Seeun gushes, "Oh he looked hot. He didn't talk to anyone the rest of the day."

"I wonder what happened," Eunwoo shrugs.

I look over at Jungwon who's so focused on making map. Liking him is a nightmare. He's the worst kind of guy to even think about dating, but he's so... caring. I've never been cared before. I've never had anyone on my side.

I shake my head from the thoughts. What if he's just acting this way for his own motive? I'm the only one besides Seeun who's not overly obsessed with him.

"Besides that, he seems to... favor you," Seeun nudges me with a sly smile.

I rub my arm, "What?"

"I would have to actually agree," Eunwoo says. "Jungwon is too flirty for his own good, but we've never seen him get mad over a girl."

I scoff, "He was just mad because of his ex."

"He clearly told her to not disrespect you," Seeun reminds. "He's giving protective boyfriend vibes."

"He's giving, don't mess with her or you'll have to mess with me vibes," Eunwoo laughs.

"Giving, I'll die for you vibes," Seeun continues to tease laughing.

"Giving-"

"You guys!" I cut off Eunwoo playfully pushing them. "It's definitely NOT like that."

"How do you know?" Seeun leans in smiling.

"How do you know? How do you know? Hooow do youuu knooow?" Eunwoo teases wiggling his eyebrows.

Ugh, you know what. I'll expose myself. I might die tonight anyways.

"I asked him," I simply put it making them look at me like I'm crazy.

"Asked him what exactly?" Seeun questions.

"This would be a good time for popcorn," Eunwoo says.

I start to fiddle my fingers, slightly embarrassed on the fact that I asked Jungwon a dumb question. I already know that Seeun and Eunwoo are going to say "well he's just like that."
