John's Point of View

"Amanda already left.." Ella stated as she walked towards me

"I should follow her, John-" I cut her off

"Not now, give her some time to think about it" I said as Ella shot me an indignant look

"What if she tell the cops, John? What will happen to us then?" she questioned me

"I know that she won't ever do that" I replied as I wrap my knuckles impatiently.

"You should probably do something about Amanda... I'm worried about our work John" she said that made me even more mad.

It wasn't Ella, she barely even questioned me like this.

I faced her, staring at her green emerald eyes.

"I have my trust on Amanda. I have been keeping an eye on her for too long. I know her better than you think" I said and Ella just shrug while laughing.

"She clearly doesn't want to work with us, John. Amanda was disgusted by how we work. You should probably... get rid of her before it's too late"

Her words hurted me, I can't harm Amanda. She was pure and innocent.

"Tell me what's wrong with you, Eleanor?!" she looked at me probably shocked because I finally raised my voice.

"I want Amanda gone since she showed up and then you are gone looking after her!" she yelled at me and I just sighed heavily

"You taught us that we shouldn't get attached to someone and look what you've been doing!" he angrily scolded me

I looked down at her, appearing more intimidating as I tried to calm her down.

"I taught you that because I don't want you to end up being hurt by this world" I said and she looked down, finally defeated.

"Now I know, John" she said as she left the room.

Amanda's Point of View

I keep on walking until I felt my feet hurting, I don't care if I get lost.. all I wanted was to get away from John and his sick doings.

"Hey, Amanda" A deep voice called out behind me

I turned around and spotted the guy earlier who drag me to John. He was inside the car and keep on honking at me.

I just ignored him and started walking away, more faster this time. Although I know that it'll be useless because he would easily followed me.

"What do you want, bastard?" I said as I faced him

"Let me give you a ride to John's home. It'll be easier and faster if you'll get in, right now" I looked at him, his eyes are fixed on me

He has a point, It'll be easier for me if I get in right now

I stepped inside the car and he just sighed in relief.

I had a doubt that he would take me back at the workshop but I was wrong. I immediately recognized the area, the park, the neighborhood and finally it was John's home.

"Thank you, sir" I said as I gratefully looked at him

"It's Mark Hoffman, okay?" he spoke in such a cold manner but his actions made me feel nice about him

He drove away and left me, it was almost getting dark.

I hurried up to get inside and It made me feel at home. I weakly climbed upstairs as I headed towards John's room. I laid down on bed, thinking about the warehouse.
