John & Amanda | We Are Destined (Complete)

John's Point of View

I breathe hard, feeling overwhelmed by emotions. I looked up the dark sky, the sun's already far gone.

I got out of my car and looked back at Amanda sleeping on the backseat. I caressed her beautiful face, my hands trembling at each stroke.

She sounds so peaceful that I can't help but to stare. Her beauty captivates me and I'm sure that she knows it. I move the little hair in her face as I smiled, happy and contented.

Just like the first time I brought her home, carrying her like a bride of mine. I was too gentle with her, I don't want to wake her up.

As I managed to lay her down, I fell in love again.. seeing her brown eyes now looking at me, she was still sleepy.

"Go back to sleep, sweetheart" I whispered and kissed her cheeks and she listened.

I closed the door after I'm sure that she's sound asleep again before going back in my car. I drive away from home and went straight to my plan... taking the surgery.

After minutes of driving, I'm already in front of the hospital. Lawrence was already at the main entrance, he gestured me to take a different entrance.

I'm still wanted and the police are still searching so I have to be careful. Lawrence had his own room for any types of operation.

When I'm already inside, I took an elevator. Lawrence greeted me as soon as I arrived at his office.

"Glad to see you, John. Don't worry, we will do anything to help you get better" he said as I followed him to another room.

Amanda's Point of View

I rubbed my eyes, feeling better than ever. I remembered that John left me on the car because he will take care of something.

I heard loud noises inside the place that John had been, I heard Ella's voice. Her screams are still inside my head, I don't know what they did to her but John insists me to stay out of it.

I got so bored that I end up sleeping on the car. All I know next was I saw John putting me here and then he was gone when I woke up.

I heard my phone ringing besides the table, I picked it up and a man's voice spoke up.

"I'm calling to make sure that you're doing well, Amanda" Lawrence said and I just smiled when I suddenly remembered about the surgery.

"Is it done yet? Is John okay now?" I asked as I grew worried.

"Not yet, Amanda. It's still on going but let's hope for the best... I'll call you later" he said and I thanked him.

I looked outside the window, seeing the moon shining brightly. The cold breeze hitting my face. I decided to go outside to put aside my worries.

I put on a coat and went outside, I noticed a dark silhouette approaching the house. I begun to search something to protect myself.

I grab a stick and hid behind the bush. I saw Mark and I went out of my hiding spot. He looked amuse for a reason.

"Why are you hiding? it's just me, Amanda" he said with a smirked.

"I thought it was someone else" I told him and he just nod.

I was going to leave when he pulled my hand.

"Where are you going? it's better to stay home" he told me and I looked at him with an annoyed face.

"I want to take a walk... alone" I told him and he finally let me go.

"Okay- be back in atleast half an hour if you don't... I'll find you" he said threatening me and I just smiled widely.

I walked away, feeling the excitement of knowing what lies behind the forest. The tall trees almost covered anything on it's way but the moon shines brighter than ever. I explored the trees, seeing the rock, mud and the other animals that only comes out at night.

I found myself walking out of the forest, seeing the wide sea with no sign of people. I can't believe it, how could be this place, be a secret.

I touch the sand, drawing my name with my fingers. I smiled when I saw a seashell lying near the shore. I picked it up and noticed that it was as unique as this ocean was.

I come closer to the sea, feeling the strong connection it has on me. I put my hands on the water and I saw something, a necklace being carried by the waves.

It was a gold necklace, I picked it up and saw the name engrave on the heart piece.

But someone's voice startled me, it was Mark... he was calling far from me.

I accidentally threw the necklace back on the water but the waves already washed it near the shore just when I'm going to get it. Mark was already in front of it, he quickly take a looked on it.

"This- this can't be... this is my sister's lost necklace" he said and placed it closer to his chest.

"Where did you find it, Amanda?" he asked, looking at me with pure happiness.

"The sea did" I told him and he can't stopped smiling.

I sat on the sand when he did, he watched the waves while he spoke again.

"It's been missing since were children, this is the only memory I have of her" he said before thanking me.

We watched the moon, the stars and we both laughed like a child. He showed me kindness and gratitude. I hope that it will change the way that he treated me.

And it did.

"You know what- in return... I'll drive you to the hospital" he said and I looked at him, delighted.

I hugged him and he hugged me back, he pulled away and I cried with happiness knowing that I will be seeing John again.

A lot of nurses are busy with their own doings. I approach the counter and asked for Doctor Lawrence. He asked me if I have an appointment, I told him that I know Lawrence and he immediately told me what floor and room he was in.

Mark and I went there, John was still inside the surgery room. Lawrence greeted me when he saw me. I smiled and asked about if everything was going alright.

"Soon, Amanda. Were almost done with the operation" he said and I grabbed Mark's hand tightly.

Lawrence told me to take it easy as I have to be strong for John. I just smiled sadly. I have gone waiting for too long.

I looked at the clock with fear when I heard a commotion inside. The doctors appeared out of nowhere and starts going inside.

Lawrence rushed outside, looking nervously on me.

"There has been some complications, please stay here!" he said before leaving me again.

I wanted to check what was happening but Mark held me. He prevent me to interfere and told me that it's gonna be okay, but I knew that it's not going to be.

I caressed my face, covering it with my cold sweaty palms. I cried and cried until my eyes went numb. Mark gave me a cup of water to calmed me down.

He never leave my side as the commotion finally died down. Lawrence took out his gloves and went on me, he looked at me in relief before saying.

"It's okay now, Amanda. He'll be awake soon... later you could see him but now please go home..." he told me before looking at Mark.

My mind was telling me to stay here, I was still worried about him. I could never leave him like that... what if something happens when I left.

I looked back at Mark just when he's going to agree with Lawrence's idea.

"Please could I atleast stay here for the night... just to make sure" I told Mark but he just looked at Lawrence.

Lawrence finally had a courage to take my hand with his. He softly calmed me down before saying.

"If you say so... you could stay" I thanked him knowing that he could not turned me away.
