Chapter 2

~Lena's POV~

After the kids got on the bus, I went upstairs to call one of my best friend, Julia.

Julia: Hey Len! What's up?

Lena: Just got the kids on the bus. I was wondering if you wanted to go shopping with me today? Jonathan has to be at the rink all day because of the game tonight.

Julia: I would love too! I'll meet you at your house at 10?

Lena: Sure! I would love too! See you then!

Julia: Great! See you soon!

I hung up and went to get ready.

After I had a shower, I walked into my walk in closet and picked my outfit out for the day.

I decided on a pair of skinny jeans, a white silk tank top and a black blazer from Guess. I got dressed and did my hair and makeup.

"I got to go hon! I'll see you tonight at the game!" Jonathan yelled from our bedroom.

"Okay! Love you!" I yelled back.

"Love you too beautiful."

I finished my morning routine and walked to my office downstairs.

I went through my file cabinet to get our kids adoption forms.

"Why do you need those?" Our head maid, Uruslla asked me.

"Blair and Neve are registering for high school and we need the adoption papers to show they are ours." I replied.

"Oh I see." She said.

I grabbed the girls papers and set them on our desk.

I checked my phone for the time and walked to our garage when I heard a car honk.

I walked out the door and saw Julia in her car.

I grabbed my purse and hopped into the car with Julia.
