Gion Matsuri Festival:Saki

I'm back you guys!!! 

I'll be posting today's chapter.

I think the story is going to turn out longer than I expected.But whatever. 

Also,do you guys think I'm bad at writing?Tell me in the comments because I'm starting to doubt the skill I have ( if I have any)

*Dan's pov* 

"I'm so excited you guys! We're going to be exploring Kyoto! It's going to be amazing!"Lia exclaims 

"Mhmm! You won't be disappointed!"Shun says 

"I'm so HUNGRYYYYYY!!! I haven't in foreverrrrr!"I moan 

"All you ever think about is food,Dan."Wynton sighs,face palming

"Hey!I think about other stuff too, like brawling!" 

"Of course you do." 

"Actually, I'm hungry to."Lia mumbles 

"Same." 

"Hmm,I wonder what we could eat this early... I know! there's a street food stand around here.Let's go!" 

"Yes!!! My first time trying authentic Japanese food.Magnus,you coming?" I ask 

He sighs 

"Whatever.Let's go." 

We walk to the street food stand.Kyoto is so...busy at this time.The car drivers curse at the slow traffic and motor bikes zoom past,it all mixes together.Tonight the city is alive with lights that seem to echo heaven's light. 

"There it is!"Shun points to a stand in the distance. 

"Ugh!Finally!" 

We wait for the cars to pass and sprint across the road.There's a girl wearing a lavender pink collared jacket with a plain white t-shirt and cerise pink knee length she's wearing a hot pink and artic blue kumihimo bracelet.Her hair is pitch black and shoulder length.Her bags hang over her bubble gum pink eyes.She has black glasses. 

"Saki?"Shun asks 

"Shun!" 

The girl named Saki steps out of the stand out embarces Shun.

"It's been so long!But you came back,like you said you would!"Saki exclaims 

"Mhmm!I still have the bracelet!" Shun mentions,rolling up his sleeve to reveal an identical bracelet to the girl's. 

"You guys,I would like you to meet my child hood best friend, Saki!" 

"It's nice to meet you!"She whispers

"It's nice too meet you too!"we chorus (except for Magnus and Shun) 

We all stare at Magnus 

"Magnus,"I hiss nudging him 

"Oh right,nice meeting you."He mutters 

Saki beams at him 

"You too!"  

"So what have you come here for Shun?" 

"The Gion Matsuri Festival!And we came here to eat.We haven't eaten since the flight!"Shun says 

Lia narrows her eyes at the girl and Lia places a finger on her chin.She's probably jealous 

"What are you doing here Saki?" Shun questions

"Oh I'm just here to earn some money.Anyways,what would you like?" 

"Ummm..." Shun trails 

"Sushi!" We chime 

"Okay then!Sushi it is!" 

She makes it for us and my mouth literally waters.She rinses the sushi rice in cold water until the water runs clear, then soaks roughly two parts rice to three parts cold water in a saucepan.Next, she brings the rice to the boil, cover and cooks until the rice has absorbed all the water and is tender. She stirs through the rice vinegar and sugar.

Saki cools the rice down quickly and spreads it onto a baking tray and covers with a slightly damp tea towel.She places a nori sheet on top of the sushi rolling mat.After tons of boring and complicated steps, it's ready.

"Thank you!" Saki hand us our portions

"Oh,Shun can I have you number?" She asks 

"Sure!" They exchange numbers 

"Call you tomorrow!" 

" Bye Shun." 

"Bye Saki!"  

We go back to the hotel.
