I'll Find You( JJK FF)

Help!

10 AM

Seeing a mattress coming my way I prepare myself to jump onto it. As soon as it's under me I jump, barely making the landing. I use my hands as paddles in hopes that I'll find shallow water. A scream from the distance breaks the eerie silence. By the tone of it I know it's a child making me panic, "Hello! Are you okay"?! No one responses, so I turn my boat in the direction of the scream. Once I get there I find a tree next to a building that I am assuming is three stories tall.  Once I get my mattress "parked" next to the tree I climb up. 

No child is in sight but I do see a man laying on his back floating in the water unconscious. I painfully get down from my spot and quickly swim over to him. I flip him onto his back and push him over to the tree. I would put him on the roof of the building but it looks as though it'll collapse at any given time. Meaning I would not take that risk. I hoist him up to a nice high branch as I notice the water level is gradually going up. It was a pain in the ass to get him up and hurt seeing as my shoulder and stomach are injured badly.

I make sure the man is breathing and silently wait for him to wake up. It takes about twenty minutes until he wakes up. I jump from my branch down to his and sit in front of him. He groans in pain as he tries to slowly get up, so I assist him. "How did I get here?" He asks dizzily and obviously still not fully there yet. I let him adjust a bit before I answer, "I was up in this tree when I saw you floating, so I brought you over". He's more aware now as he looks around and sees how high we are in the tree from the water. I notice him size me up before saying, "all by yourself and thank god you speak Korean". I laugh a bit before I hum in response as I am very tired and out of breath. Soon he gasps loudly, "Goodness! Look at your shoulder its flapping off and there's a stick in your stomach." 

Looking over at my shoulder that now needs to be rewrapped a sigh escapes my mouth. Then I look to my stomach and back up at him, "Im too scared to take it out". He nods understanding my fear, "that's understandable, Whats your name"? I give him a fake smile cause I know he's trying to lighten the mood, "Kim Junghwa. Whats your name"? He then looks me in the eyes and gives me quite the beautiful smile that make his eyes turn into crescent moons, "Im Park Jimin".

We sit in silence a bit, hoping that help will soon come to us. No one has come by in a boat and I haven't seen not one helicopter yet. That's probably because they're dealing with a ton of people. A Tsunami hit this part of Thailand back in 2004 and was recorded as one of the worst. I look around and see that even 4 story buildings are under the water. This one has to be worse than the first one or its nearly as devastating as the first one. 

"Did you loose someone just like I did?" He questions breaking the silence.  All the painful bad scenarios run through my had as I think of what might've happened to Jungkook. Still looking down I answer, "Yes, my boyfriend. His name is Jeon Jungkook and"... Tears soon spill from eyes as I think of the last thing he heard from me before all of this. I didn't even get to apologize to him. "Sadly we got into a horrible argument last night cause I wanted him to pause work and take time for himself. For us. Then I woke up to find a note saying that he was taking a walk along the beach. I..." I stop midway as I start to sob and Jimin pulls me into a comforting hug making sure to be careful of the stick. "I didn't even get to apologize. The last thing I told him was that after the trip we should take a break," he still hugs me comfortingly. 

"Well... I lost my childhood best friend. We've had each others back since birth. We were arguing when the Tsunami hit. He wanted to stay here with his girlfriend Lisa. But, she lives in Singapore. We wanted to come here cause of the beautiful beach," He tells me and I look up. Guess I'm not the only one who messed up this vacation, "What's his name"? Jimin looks to his fidgeting hands as I can tell he's thinking of the argument, "Kim Taehyung. I was stupid for arguing, I was just scared of loosing him". I shake my head and chuckle ruefully, "I'm dumber".

He goes to say something but I interrupt him by jumping up excitedly, "Oh my god! Jimin look there's people"! He spins around so quick that I was scared he broke his back in the process. "Yah, we're over here and she's super injured!" he yells and I laugh at him, "They speak Thai remember". He mouths an, 'oh yeah, I forgot'. Soon enough they get over here with their boat. Once Im down they prop me onto the boat, so Im not in pain or hurt myself more than I already am.  

Finally, I've been rescued. Now I need to find a way to contact my brother. Now I can start looking for Jungkook.
