When I say Carlisle I mean Carlisle Cullen, as in from twilight.

"Carlisle!" Alaric screamed as his sister let out a blood curdling scream. Aria had been sleeping, to others it may have looked as if she were dead. Shallow breathing, no movement, practically lifeless. Although Alaric knew his sister was alive and was waiting for this moment to come. He could hear her bones snapping on their own accord even over her screams and cries.

Alaric wanted to help, he didn't want to see his baby sister in pain, but there was nothing he could do. There was only one person that could relieve some of the pain and there was no way that Alaric will let him near Aria. Seeing his sister like this made him feel weak, it made his inner wolf cower and whimper but he knew Aria didn't need him, she could pull through on her own.

Alaric and Aria were born the way they are, it's their culture and heritage. Their father had been the Alpha of their pack, until he resigned, handing the job over to Alaric. In turn Alaric found his mate, the packs Luna and took responsibility. Until last night every thing had been fine, until Aria was attacked. He knew there was only one thing- one person to help, but he wasn't going to ask for his help. Alaric had been hiding his sisters mate from her for years, he couldn't just show up now. She'd be so confused, and then once her mind clears up she'd just be morally pissed off.

"Carlisle what's happening?" Alaric whined, worrying about the safety of not only his sister but their safety to be around her.

"Her wolf is trying to shift but the transition won't allow it." The night before Aria was attacked by one of those things. (The way it happens in The Vampire Diaries) The unknown bloodsucker showed up out of no where, bit her, forced her to drink his blood and then snapped her neck. His blood had healed her and now it's either she dies or drinks human blood.

He wasn't able to protect her from those dead bloodsuckers and now his own sister may turn into one.

"Why can't she shift!?"Alaric screamed, his fear of loosing his sister taking over.

"Her blood is trying to do what it would do to a human, basically freeze the body, put everything on pause. But her wolf is trying to heal it and she's trying to shift. Her bones are breaking and healing with seconds in between." Carlisle continued to explained, Alaric was so confused, so scared. How could she be both? A wolf, and a vampire?

"Why is she screaming? She's always had a high pain tolerance." This was the Aria that fought off four rouges by herself, gone thought heat and never had the desire fulfilled, had all of the bones in her body broken at once from a previous vampire attack. How was this effecting her?

"On top of all this happening to her body, the adrenaline put her body into heat. She's screaming for the sexual desire not being fulfilled, not form the internal effects." Alaric sighed in frustration. Last night when Aria was brought back to the pack house he made everyone leave, including his Luna. So when he heard the front door open and slam shut he knew something wasn't right.

"Stay with her." Alaric growled to Carlisle, slowly exciting the room so who had come in wouldn't know where Aria was, well until they heard her screams. Alaric left the room, making his way through the puzzled halls until he reached the winding staircase. Upon getting there he stopped, he knew he would be here but he didn't want to believe it. "Leave" Alaric spat to the man who stood at the top of the staircase.

"You know I'm not going anywhere. I can help her." Alaric had been keeping this man from Aria for so long. When he had first found her, Aria was too young for her mate. She needed to be a kid first, not a sixteen year old stuck in lust with a man ten years older than her.
