*So we're just going to pretend that Norman is the bad boy with a twin brother named James who is the good one.*
This will have more than one part
(8 years old)
"You can't play with him Drew." James told the little girl as he dragged her away from his brother, Norman.
"But why not, James? I like it when the three of us play together." Drew whined as she looked back at Norman who looked so sad watching his brother pull her away.
James and Norman are Drew's next door neighbors that are twins. Their parents are best friends and the three kids have all been around each other since they were born, coincidentally all on the same day even thought Drew is not related to them at all.
Drew watched Norman stand alone in his front yard until James pulled her into her backyard and closed the gate, leaving Norman out of sight and making her sad.
James turned to Drew and placed his hands on her shoulders. His blue eyes were just a hint darker on account of his anger towards his brother but his blonde hair was still as bright as ever and fell to the middle of his forehead and his eyebrows were slightly furrowed as if he was about to go into big brother mode.
"You can't play with Norman because he's mean, Drew. Can't you see that? He doesn't want us to play together. So the three of us can't be together anymore."
Drew frowned, knowing that things would never be the same after that day.

Drew had been right that day, things never were the same. Here she was ten years later, a senior in high school with her best friends being people who despised each other, Norman and James.
After that day Drew had never played with both of the boys again. It had always been one or the other, which wasn't a big deal until they got to middle school.
Norman had his friends and James had his, then there was Drew, stuck in the middle between the two boys because she wouldn't let her self give one of them up.
It was strange to think about how the boys acted towards each other. From as early as she can remember they had never gotten along, always arguing and picking fights with each other. When they were younger, you couldn't tell the boys apart even if you tried, they were the definition of identical twins.
Both had bright blonde hair that turned into a dirty blonde as they got older. Matching sparking blue eyes, long lashes, thin lips and everything in between. Even down to the moles on their face, which was a one and a million chance of happening, but it did.
As they got older they two of them had grown more aggravated by the fact that they were so alike in physical appearance that no one could tell who was who. They understood when they were younger, but once they started getting into their teen years they thought it was a bit ridiculous.
That's when Norman started dying his hair, a dark down color that made his eyes, along with all of his other features pop and all of the girls in school drool over him.
Not that girls weren't attracted to James, because they were, it was just a different attraction. James was the boy that ever girl wanted to take home to meet their parents, while Norman was the boy that every girl wanted to skip class with to make out and keep it their little secret. Although it wasn't a secret that every girl in the senior class wanted one or both of them in their beds.
