Chapter 4⚠️

The human group were inside the bedroom waiting for Cora to come back

Joseph: "It's been 2 hours now.. I bet she sold us out"

Bailey: "Give her some time don't assume that, maybe the corner store is already looted"

They hear a knock at the window

Tyler: "Is that her?"

Bailey: He carefully looks at the window and sees cora before he opens it

Cora: "Yea my apologies, the corner store nearby was already looted and I went to find another store"

Bailey: "See told ya!"
He takes the bags from cora and rest them down before letting cora inside the house then shutting the window and locking it

Joseph: "So what food you got us?"

Cora: "Some non perishable foods, crackers, some water and some snacks aswell"

Tyler:  "Hallelujah I'm hungry"

Bailey: He closes the blinds

Cora: "Yea let's eat for hell sakes.."

They take some food out of the bags and began to eat, Cora was eating some turkey meat, Tyler was eating a cold BLT sandwich, Joseph was eating a turkey sandwich and finally, Bailey was eating cold pizza

Tyler: "Finally this is good, I love this food, thank you for bringing this back"

Cora: "Heh no problem, I haven't got your two names yet"

Tyler: "I'm Tyler"

Joseph: "And I'm Joseph"
He says having a mouthful of the turkey sandwich in his mouth causing everyone to laugh

Cora: "Haha! Well nice to meet you two"

Tyler: "Nice to meet you also"

Cora: "Now let's see, the hospital is overflowing with anthros trying to get medication, and or humans inside, the store I was in is also a small hotspot what else what else, Oh! I see anthro police officers now patrolling hoping to catch stragglers.."

Bailey: "Jesus.. that desperate?"

Cora: "Yep..."

Joseph: "Damn.. then we won't  have long until they find us here"

Cora: "There's a house near the edge of town that's secluded, and away from others"

Joseph: "How do you know this?"

Cora: "Because I used to go there all the time"

Joseph: "Ah ok.."

Cora: "What do you say midnight we leave and head over there?"

Joseph: "Hmm we have to pack then"

Tyler: "True, but we have to pack light also.."

Bailey: "And only vital stuff will be needed,."

Cora: "So it's a deal then, we got a few more hours when you guys finish eating, pack up"

Bailey: "Alright"

Tyler: "Also hey Bailey?"

Bailey: "Yea?"

Tyler: "I mostly see you on your phone, what happened to it?"

Bailey: "Had to abandon it at the hospital room I was in because some male bird tried to fuck me"

Tyler: "Damn, maybe one day we could try to get it back"
