Chapter 12: The Advice

"So you two seem to be getting to know one another well." The Uncle commented. "Yeah I told her about my parents and she knows you knocked out my father to become the boxing champion before he was killed." Ty replied. "Uh oh so she's not a fan of me anymore is what you're saying?" Ty laughed a bit "She's still a fan of yours but She loves Ty and Taz a lot more than Duke." Ty joked a bit. "Well that sucks I was really starting to like her as a fan, But no listen seriously you sure you are doing this for yourself and not her cause I just care about your safety Ty." The uncle says as Ty studied his thoughts of what he wanted and answered the question honestly. "I'm in love with her Rocky and she keeps me out of trouble each time I feel the need to beat someone senseless for what they've done to me or what they've done to her she holds me back from that because if you remember when I was little I would nearly kill whoever talked about my parents. I don't want to be that anymore. Naomi keeps me at peace and I want that. I want to finally be free from all this hurt and pain and sadness in my life. She takes all of that away when I'm with her. But when I'm boxing in the ring I let all of that anger and pain and sorrow out. Not because I can but because she taught me how I can put it to good use and that's use is to use all of that against my opponent." Ty stood up as his uncle told him "Well you don't need to move too fast. I'm glad you found a way to use your rage and anger for good. I think that she should be your coach alongside me but instead of sparring with her just keep talking to her and being happy with her don't worry you're getting there just give it time. So I noticed you gave her the locket. You really care about her a lot I see."He told Ty noticing the locket. "Yeah like I said she's my world and my coach, there isn't a thing I wouldn't do for her." Ty told him. The uncle saw he was a man of his word and he knew she could teach him a lot as well as keep him out of trouble then says. "You know if you need anything I'm always here for you and I know you're a man of your word when you promise something and mean what you say as does she so what I want you to promise me is that you always stay happy I've seen how you look at her when talking and how you trust her when she asks to go do something she has that same look and trust for you when you ask to go do something or talks to you and that just makes me cry for joy when you're not looking. So promise me to always stay happy and true to her." Ty nods smiling and answers "I promise. But you didn't need to ask me that I'll always take care of her." Naomi walks around the corner back to Ty and says "I also will take care of him and keep him safe. I promise that to you. Ty did you really mean all of that about me?" She smiled and asked. "Of course I did, Naomi you mean so much to me I don't know what I would do without you here." She smiled brighter and held his hand "Aww Ty you're gonna make me cry." The whole ER roars and cheers for them chanting Champ over and over again. "How are you feeling uncle?" Rocky tears up and starts chanting with the crowd. "Oh I almost forgot." Naomi yells "Bring her in Bryan. Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce the one who will be taking my place for the time being Mrs. Naomi Velvet!" Miss Goldson stepped inside and she walked around letting everybody see her and they cheered for her. "Wow you did great on the makeup you could pass as twins and I wouldn't know it." Ty applauded her. "So who wants an autograph and picture with us?" He asked and everyone raised their hand when a nurse started towards them. "Sir we're almost done with visitor hours for the day. Would you mind if I got a list for you and you sign autographs later for those on the list and take a picture with them some other time?" He replied in a calm voice "Yeah sure you get the names and I'll sign an autograph photo for them later. If you need my address just ask my uncle he'll give it to you. Ready love? Naomi nods and gives her uncle a kiss on the head. "Ready Ty."
