Screwing up on my first night as a babysitter wasn't what I had planned. "Look. Hannah..I know I screwed up big time. I know you're probably gonna tell your parents that oh my gosh my babysitter's a werewolf..and.." she looked at me with her arms crossed against her chest, could she and her friends actually keep my secret a secret.
"Jade. I'm not gonna tell them..my mom is one of the vampires who married a human, and I am pretty sure neither will Jayden or Felipe..gonna mention it to their parents either..since Jayden is like me and well Felipe is already a half-vampire."
"Wait what, I didn't agree to this.." I looked at Jayden and Felipe as she did as well with a raised brow, "I second that..I can't lie to my dad..", "Well do you want to go through the whole babysitters process and speech again..and ruin another one of their double date nights.."
She added, "No but we're high schoolers..do we really need a babysitter..", "First off you're a freshman..you still have time to live the high school experience you dreamed about..second Hannah's dad had a babysitter in high school..and look where he is now.."
She looked at me confused, "How old did you say you were again..", "Like old enough to know your parents when they were in high school.." she glared at me as the boys laughed nervously, "I'm 110..", "Then why do you look like you're in your twenties.." Felipe commented, "Just like vampires..I got bitten by a werewolf when I was around 21 and now I forever look like this age..anything else you wanted to know.."
"No but just to recap there's werewolves and vampires roaming in Whitechapel.." I nodded, "Great. That is just a great way to start out Freshman year with that knowledge.." I laughed at her sarcasm. "There is also a rumor that there may be things such as seers and mages and everything else in between the supernatural worlds..for your information.."
Hannah nodded, "Great." She didn't seem pleased, "So before your parents come to pick you up. I need one slight favor.." All of them look at me strangely, "What's that.." Hannah said, "Could someone teach me the basics of babysitting..", "It's quite simple..Don't eat us, feed us, keep us safe, and most importantly never lie to us.." I nodded, "Okay..seems simple enough.."
