I stared out of the window, thoughts of killing and murder flooding through my brain. What if I died? What if they took Sam anyway? What if Sam died?! What would happen if I died? Would Dad be able to take care of Sam? What would happen if I came back and Sam and Dad were dead?! My thoughts were interrupted by the door slamming open.
"You have three minutes." A gruff voice said. I turned around, and there they were. Dad was staying strong. Sam? He ran forward and collapsed in my arms.
"Sam, shh. It's okay. Sam? Sam! We don't have much time, Sam." I began, crouching down so I was eye-level with him. I glanced at the door, where Dad stood protectively against it, nodding at me. I spread my wings around Sam and comforted him. "You keep yourself safe. Take care of Dad." I smiled at John over my wing before turning back to Sam. "I'll be back with money, food, and a nice place. Understand? Lisa will bring you game and food. Don't you worry your pretty little head about me, okay? I'll stab those fuckers into next week." I teased, wrapping my arms around him. I retracted my wings and gently stroked his, pulling back. He smiled at me before handing me the pin.
"To protect you." He whispered. I smiled softly at him.
"Thank you, Sammy." I whispered back. I pulled him close and pressed my lips against his forehead, holding him. I looked back up at Dad and pulled away from Sam for a second. I stood up and walked towards him.
"You can't go out again." I growled.
"I promise, I won't." He said back.
"You can't go out and hunt and get drunk off your ass, like when mom died. You have to be there for Sammy, no matter what you feel. No matter what happens, you will be the only one there for him until I get back. Protect him with your life. Understand?" I said to Dad. He closed his eyes and nodded, before opening them and smiling slightly. I pulled him in and hugged him, patting his back a few times before the door was slammed open. I looked back at Sam and jerked back my shoulders, hoping he got the message, he did, zapping back his wings. I smiled at him and nodded as they were dragged out by another Angel.
"Promise you'll come back!?" Sam yelled.
"PROMISE!" I yelled. The door slammed in my face and there I was, standing at the door, glaring at the brown wood. A second later, I turned the knob and looked out. Nothing. I shut the door, but as soon as I did, Lis was rushing into the room. I wrapped my arms around her, making sure the door was closed until letting my wings curl around her.
"I'm okay, Lis, I'm okay." I whispered into her ear. She pulled away abruptly and stared into my eyes.
"I don't think I am." She whispered.
"Lis, take care of yourself. I'm an angel. A fighter. A warrior. I'll kill them all myself if it means I can come back to you and Sam. You're my best friend. I wouldn't lose this for the world. So don't you worry. I'll win." I heard the door slam open so I quickly retracted my wings.
"Yes, you would lose for the world."
"Whatever."
"Take care of Sammy!" I yelled after her. The door slammed shut once again and I was left alone with my thoughts. And my wings.

"Oh, you boys are in for a treat! There's crystal chandeliers, platinum doormats, and just divine foods in the Capitol!" Lucifer exclaimed. We were sitting in a car, with Cas in the driver's seat, me in shotgun, and Lucifer chilling between us. He managed to pull back his massive fucking red wings back just enough, but I had to lean forward so he could rest one behind me. He kept talking, but I wasn't listening anymore. I tuned him out and stared out the window, wondering how the hell I was going to win this.
