teenagers scare the living shit out of me

teenagers keep a lot of things to themselves, especially their feelings
but sometimes, all it takes is a minor inconvenience for them to realize that the people they are surrounded by don't care about them in the slightest, and then it all comes crumbling down

all their gender dysphoria, hatred for their parents, anxiety about their friends, and even body dysmorphia just bursts out, and with that come the urges.

the urges to cut their skin, swallow a pack of pills, and many other things

and noone notices that they're at their very end
because they slowly make sure noone cares about them
that noone notices how much they hurt
and noone sees that that minor inconvenience set off an atom bomb of feelings that turned off the light

the light in their face when they smile
the light in their eyes when they look at something that amuses them
the light in their little doodles on the sides of their school work sheets
the light in their movement
the light in their face
