Rose complained. Autumn told. Mom asked.

"Did you flirt with Rose's boyfriend?" She asked.

"No, we just got paired up in a group for a science project." I said. Mom raised her eyebrows. "It's true, I swear!"

"Rose said you told him she was a lunatic" Mom said.

"He said Rose called me a horrible little witch!" I said. "Rose is lying!"

"We'll talk about this later." Mom said.

In science Shawn walked over to me.

"So, what's the plan?" He asked.

"The plan is for us to stop talking." I said, not looking at him.

"Than how are we going to do the project?" Shawn asked.

"Ask Rose." I said. "She got pissed and told her parents that I was trying to flirt with you."

"Aren't you?"

"Why would I?" I asked. "I don't even like you."

"Ow." Shawn said. "I'll talk to Rose and tell her we'll stop talking after we finish this project."

"Deal." I said. "And we won't."

The project was good but you did most of the work 'cause Shawn was... well, dumb.

"What's this?" He kept asking. "How do we do this?" But, after a while I finally finished the rocket and it got second place! I were really happy. It wasn't first but it wasn't last. Shawn wasn't too happy though. "We should've gotten first." He said.

"Yes you should've." Rose cooed. I walked away, keeping your promise that you would never talk to Shawn again. This will be easy. I thought. But I was so wrong. So so wrong.

Shawn tried to talk to me every day.

"Why are you ignoring me?" He demanded.

"We promised to stop talking after the project." I said. "I'm just upholding that promise. You should too."

"But I don't want to." He said.

"I don't care!" I burst out. "And Rose doesn't care either! Leave me alone! Please!" You stormed away before he could say anything. He stopped talking to you after that.

"Are you still going to beat up Rose?" Willow asked.

"That was two weeks ago." Aurora said. "But I still haven't forgotten. I just haven't gotten to doing anything yet."

"Maybe Shawn just said that to get us rilled up." Olive said.

"Maybe." Aurora said.

"I can't wait for summer." I said. "Hopefully Rose doesn't convince Autumn and Grandpapa to let her bring Shawn to the island."

"Oh I hope not." Jack said.

When summer came around I rushed to pack my bags.

"Your in a hurry." Mom said.

"I'd rather be on the island then here right now." I said.

"Even after the accident?" Mom asked. I paused.

"I-forgot about the accident." I said.

"Well you should be happier here than on the island with Rose." Mom said.

"I have school with Rose every day!" I complained. "I see her and hear he talk every day!"

"But not all day." Mom said.

"Every day is enough." I said. "At least I can stay away from her boyfriend."

"Oh, Shawn?" Mom asked.

"Please don't say he's coming." I said.

"They broke up." Mom said. "You didn't hear? Rose said he was cheating on her."

"That's predictable." I said. "But she probably just saw him talking to another girl."

"She said he was cheating on her with you."

"How much does this girl hate me?" I asked.

"I have no idea." Leo said. "First she tried to kill you now she broke up with her boyfriend because of you." The boat pulled up on the dock and Rose went straight to Orchid. Everyone else slowly got out and grabbed their bags. Autumn and Leo had to take Rose's bags too. I got out of the boat with my bags and led the way to Broken Bridge. I plopped down on my bed and starred at the all to familiar ceiling. The door opened.

"Everyone's meeting at Castle Ivory." Willow said.

"Okay, I'm." I said, sitting up. "I'll catch up." Willow nodded and left. I looked around my room before getting up and grabbing a jacket. It was going to be cold on the way to Castle Ivory and the big rooms in the house could be colder. I walked out of my room and down the stairs. I closed Broken Bridge's door and walked towards the big hill holding Castle Ivory.

When I was mid-way up I stopped and looked out at the choppy water. Fog layered the sky and the ocean was a blue-grey. I felt the wind blow threw my hair. I took a deep breath and climbed the rest of the way up.

"Ah Luna, I'm glad you could make it." Grandpapa said. He was sitting at the head of the table as usual with Grannie on his right and Carol on his left. Next to Carol was Massie and next to her was Autumn, Leo, and Rose. Next to Grannie sat mom, Willow and Aurora. I sat between Willow and Aurora.

"Of course I made it." I said. "Why wouldn't I?" At that moment the cooks came in with steaming platters of food. Conversations quickly changed as the platters of food touched the table. I poked at my food.

"You should eat something." Aurora said. "You shouldn't play with your food." You nodded.

"Okay."
