"Lina,Lina,Lina,Leeeeee" The voice kept on repeating as someone yanked out my earphones. The audacity. That someone being my sister.
"Bro can you stop" I mumbled, putting my earphones back on. Nothing can keep me from listening to Childish Gambino-not even my annoying sister.
"We're almost here" she mumbled annoyed.
That made my eyes open, only to be met with the sight of my sister way too close to my face then I'm comfortable with.
"Ughhhhhh" I groaned, pushing Arelis face away from me while trying to blink the blurriness away. I paused my playlist and looked up at her, my vision still blurry.
"How long till we're there?" I asked.
"Two hours" she replied sheepishly.
"TWO HOURS?!" I yelled causing some passengers to send me death stares.
"Sorry about that" I said in an awkward voice but they all just went back to whatever they were doing. Okay.
"Why did you wake me up then?" I asked her, the annoyance clear as day on my face.
"Sorry, I was just bored" she answered in a tone that said she definitely wasn't sorry.
I rolled my eyes and made a mental note to get her back for that. I hit play on my playlist and smiled a bit when the previous song ended and one of my favourite songs started playing.
I mouthed the words of the song as I reached into my bag in front of me and got out book one of the A good girls guide to murder series. This is probably my fifth time rereading this but hey, you can't blame me. Pip is one badass
I mean, I've got two hours. Why not spend it wisely?
