WEXTON
"Awoooo! That's what I'm talking about!" I howled as we finished our cheer, running up to chat with Zed and the others.
"You guys, tonight is our last night to cheer together at a Seabrook football game" Bree spoke up with a sentimental tone. Bonzo grumbled about wishing to be a cheerleader forever.
"I know, I wish we could be cheerleaders forever too" Bree spoke in agreement "Maybe we should flunk science so high school never ends!" she exclaimed loudly, everyone pulling faces at the suggestion.
"Yeah... hard pass on that one" I chuckled out.
"Nah! We just have too much chemistry" Bree giggled as she hugged Bonzo tight.
"We are so gonna win tonight!" Coach cheered in excitement, causing me to laugh at the older man. Sometimes coach was more of a kid than any of us were.
"And when we do.."
"We'll be together forever" Addison completed Zed's statement with a dreamy smile. We all smiled along with the couple knowing that Zed and Addison were destined to be together forever, nothing would ever tear them apart.
"When I say Sea! You say Brook!" Zed started out a chant as everyone joined in. I chanted along with everyone before spotting Wyatt and Willa walking off in the distance.
"I'll see you guys later!" I called out to everyone quickly before running over to the pair with a goofy smile on my face. As I was jogging over a meteor shot through the sky above. It was a strange new development since recovering the moonstone but we'd all gotten pretty used to it. A small frown did cross my face however as I noticed my moonstone necklace glow a dim red for a second.
"Our moonstones are acting weird Wyatt" I heard Willa say as I finally reached the two.
"Yeah, something big is happening" I added in, understanding where Willa was coming from. Something definitely felt a little off, I didn't want to worry too much though.
"Yeah, something big is happening" Wyatt spoke up, smiling over at me as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders before turning to Willa with a big grin.
"Biggest football game in the universe" Wyatt finished off his statement, waving a pink Seabrook flag in the she-wolf's direction.
"Just the biggest in Seabrook" Willa countered.
"Yeah Wy, who knows, maybe there's space monsters out there playing way more important football games" I joked, earning a slap on the arm from Willa as Wyatt let out a scoff. He tried to seem unimpressed but I could see him fighting back a smile as he pulled me closer into him. The fun moment was broken however as a girl came over to try and paint Willa's face for the game. The girl jumped back, frightened of Willa who growled in her face.
"C'mon, you know how important this win is for all us monsters" Wyatt attempted to convince her.
"Seabrook needs you, cheer-wolf" I joined in with a grin.
"You want a fierce werewolf leader to rally a football team?" Willa scoffed in disbelief.
"C'mon" Wyatt and I chorused, waving Seabrook flags in her face. She stared at us with a scowl for a moment before finally letting out a sigh of defeat. The smiles on our faces grew at her sigh knowing we'd won her over.
It was late at night when I stood next to Wyatt, trying to hold in my laugh as Willa stood on stop of the bus trying to rally everyone with a very violent speech, even going as far as raking her claws across the bus.
