~Ink's pov~My entire body aches.
What happened?
I don't understand.
Water. I hear water.
With great difficulty, I open my eyes. The entire time I was laying on grass, a light green.
The sky was a beautiful blue and purple. There was no sun in the sky. It's strange it's like it's night but it's not. It's light and dark all at the same time. Beautiful really.Where am I? I lift my hand up and wipe my eyes. Turning my head to the left, I let my jaw drop. Water. There was water, streams of it, sliding through the air as if it was a flying snake.
I'm here. I'm finally the place I'd been trying to reach all these years.
"What. Did. You. Do." A steady voice comes from behind me. Error, right. He's here too.
"Hey, Ruru!" I give him a wave smiling innocently.
That made him even more angry. I can tell.
In all honestly, I never meant to drag this boy down with me. He had been fun to taunt, and he had information I needed.
All the people in that town could never comprehend how being in such a place was a wish come true.
I've came to save this place, and get the reward that I deserve.
Error, being dramatic, started to glitch aggressively.
This is the selenite world. Created by god knows who. The only reason people fear its gifts is because they don't understand why it just takes people.
Great gods came to me. To my family. Many years ago. Informing us of the great gift here.
All we have to do is fix what's been broken and give what's been lost, for a reward greater than all gifts.
Something that will make me full.
Will make me feel real.
I stand up taking in large inhales of air.
Errors still on the ground with his head in his hands. "We need to get going. Sooner I do what I have to, the sooner we can get you home."
He's silent. Slowly, Error lifts his head and stared at me.
"We can't be here." It comes out almost a whisper, but I manage to hear it.
I grab him by the shoulders and pull him to his feet. "You can come or stay, your choice Ruru."
I can tell he hated that. Hates when I speak to him like that. It's funny really.
Angrily, he pulls away from my touch.
"Do not touch me." Error states with the most firm voice he can manage."I'm trying to lead you to safety, do you not want to be safe, Error?"
He's quiet again. I don't think he knows how to react to this. What to ask, what to do, and how to say it.
"Stop it. Something tells me you know a lot more than you let on, Ink. I want you to take me home, now."
"We both know, I'm not the one who brought you here. Don't be such a hypocrite." With each word his face gets brighter, he's also getting angrier. I don't have time for him.
"You know what I mean. I want to go home. I don't have time for your games. Take me home right now." Error says, getting right up in my space almost stomping his foot with his words.
What's going on again?
"What? Where are we again?" Error stares at me with a crazed expression.
I back up taking in the view. The Selenite world. Oh.
How amazing.
I wince as I feel a hard force smack against my face. Error had just slapped me. With his hand still raised, he began to speak.
"You are to take me home."
"Okay okay! But I can't do that until we finish the quest!" I say raising my own hands into the air. Error's face fills with confusion.
"You do realize once you enter this world, to leave you need to finish the quest, or face death."
Error makes a small noise before letting his hand fall to his side.
"Okay well, what's the quest?"
"I don't know."
"How do you not know!?"
"What.. are we going on about?"
"The quest!"
"What quest?"
"Ink I swear to god."
".."
"What was the original plan?"
"I don't know, just walk until we find something?"
".. I can't with you.."
