-Error's POV-

"Must you two leave so soon?" Dream asked as Ink headed over to the door.

Ink was very excited about going.

I trail behind them slowly. The only thing I want to do is get this over with.

Dream had told us the longer we remain here would slowly kill us somehow.

So in all truth, we can't stay here.

"Sorry Dreamy! Adventure can't wait." Ink said with a smile.

Adventure. That's how he sees this. As a game.
Not a life or death situation. A game.

That boy makes me angry.

Before I even get the chance to express my anger, Ink is out the door. I quickly follow after him. Dream doesn't follow. He can't follow.

Whatever trapped him to this house is scary.
Something I don't want to face.

Ink starts towards the way we came here.
He smiles without seemingly a care in the world.

The whole land is colorful and bright. It's like my eyes are melting.

I cross my arms and squint at the ground.

A sudden pain strikes against my whole body out of nowhere leaving me winded against the ground.

Ink pauses to stare. I groan. How useless can a person possibly be. "Are you okay?" Ink asks smiling nervously while squatting down next to me.

"No. What was that?" I ask staring at my hands. The pain has vanished as quickly as it had come but god it hurt.

"The reason why other worldly beings don't enter this place." He says in a hum.

Ink reaches out to touch me but I shoo his hands away. There's no reason to touch me.

"Back up. You need to stop." I say stumbling to my feet. Ink shrugs and starts walking again.

We walk for a not too long.

We were back in the dark lined trees. Moments ago I had Ink carry me across the floating rocks again so he's on the floor resting. Instead of waiting patiently I pay more attention to our surroundings.

The water is a clear blue, and the trees around us seemingly turned into a shade of pink, only they are not cherry blossom trees. I've never seen these types of trees before.

"What are we going to do when we get there?" I ask interrupting Ink's rambling.

"..That's a good question." Ink says after standing up. He says no more after that response.

"We are doomed to die." I mutter rubbing my palms against my cheeks.

Ink and I walked side by side together along the trees. Who knows when we will find what we are looking for.

"I don't understand why you just had to come to my hometown from your fancy life." I say.

I'm looking for a reason as to why he decided to mess with unknown forces and might of killed us both.

My arms are covered in goosebumps and my vision strains. It feels like all I ever feel is some sort of pain. I call after Ink.

"Hey! Are you even listening?"

Ink doesn't turn around. He's staring at some dumb, dark butterfly with some strange patterns.

Well maybe it was a moth from just how strange it looked. Didn't matter though.
Definitely dropped on his head as a kid.

Ink just started wondering after it.
"Uh, what, where do you think your going!?" I sputter and I shuffle after him. He must have actually forgot about my existence because at this point it feels like he's running away from me.

How dare he. I should be the one running away from him, not the other way around!

There is no way he'd loose me though, I can smell his gross, migraine inducing, battery acid smelling ass. Should I pray?

Oh please god, may thee strike down this retched beast and send him to which he became.

The trees around us seemed to close in. The pathway we ran off onto was slimming. Like why do we have to run. Can't we just walk. I don't do cardio. Mercy mercy mercy.

Ink's manic laughter was getting louder. I hope he falls. If the ground won't bust his ass I will. Who knows what things lie in this forest waiting for some idiot children to eat.

Suddenly the path ends and we break into a dead looking clearing with a large old ugly house in the center. I stop dead in my tracks.
Stupid number one is still running in circles with the butterfly. He better not try and eat it, but if he does he better choke on it.

The butterfly tries to escape back into the pathway and Ink chases it. Before Ink can step foot on the path I yank him back by his scarf.
I actually regret touching that. It smells like vomit and bleach. I think I just contracted some disease.

"This was the castle right?" I question mostly to myself before wiping my hands on my pants.
"What castle?" Ink asks finally turning around.

The trees are no longer pink, but a shade of dark blues and blacks. They are also closer together blocking the sun relatively well. It's dark and cool, the air is thick. I wasn't expecting to get here so fast.

Suddenly I notice a small numb feeling in my fingertips. One look and I notice all the color has drained from my fingers. The air blows a cool breeze into my face. The sound of running water is also nearby.

I wiggle my fingers before ignoring the loss of color. This only means that the world is starting to take affect. I won't let it stop me from going home.

The area is similar to Dream's home. It is both quiet here and peaceful. Only the castle is way bigger than the place Dream actually live inside.

Ink strolls over to the door confidently and before trying to open it. I watch him frown and just stand there. With a few short steps, I linger behind him. "What's wrong?" I ask.

"The doors locked. We'll need to get in another way." Ink says in a casual tone. "We can't just go inside! That's like illegal." I retort slightly caught off guard but it's expected from Ink.

"We aren't home anymore. The rules aren't the same as before." He says looking back at me with a grin. "I still don't think breaking to someone's whole castle will be fine!" I shout in almost a whisper.

Ink shrugs me off and walks around the outside of the castle. I follow him in haste remembering how Dream said the residents were not very friendly. "We shouldn't be here."

Again, Ink ignores me and finds a back door which must have been for servants going in and out unnoticed back in the past, as the castle itself looks very worn down and the door was jammed.

It took Ink a good moment to get it open. I worry when he looks at me expectingly. If he was waiting for a thank you he wasn't getting one. "Are we seriously going in there?" I question. "Yes we are!" Ink states excitedly.

I stare with disappointed as Ink basically runs into the castle. With a groan, I pull my phone out of my bag and use it's light.

If I had any service I would have called for help but it's useless so I've been saving it for emergency's only.

With great hesitation, I follow Ink into most likely our graves. The entire halls are dark and silent. It makes me very uneasy.
