Making You Remember

Aether woke up really early that morning. He got up and headed downstairs where a cheerful Xiangling sat him down at a table and presented him with a delicious breakfast.

"Mmm! Xiangling this.. this is great!" Aether grins at the chef and the happy girl smiles back.

"Of course it is! Who do you think made it? You? Amber? Of course not.."

Aether smiles and says mockingly "I think we all know that Amber and I cant cook.. Honestly Amber just burns everything," before getting up, "I've got to go now though, see you tonight, oh wonderful chef." He faked a bow and ran out the door.

These past few days had been busy ones for him, looking for Xiao, traking him to his house, where he liked to hang out, etc. Now you might call him a stalker but at this point, Aether was just too blinded by his want for the same closure he had once felt with Xiao.

Today was the day he was to implement his plan.

Aether took a deep breath and started to the music store in which Xiao worked at as a cashier.

Ding-a-ling-a-ding

The bell at the door rang as Aether pushed his way in, "Hello, welcome to... Its you!"

Xiao stared in suprise at the figure standing before him. "Hey Xiao!" Aether started nervously, "How are you doing? I was just wondering whether you would like to go for a drink and talk a bit after your shift?"

Xiao narrowed his eyes suspiciously at Aether, "No thank you, I'm good.."

Aether looked up suprised, "O-oh! Uhmm... maybe later then?" He asked hopefully.

"Look dude, I dont know what the hell your deal is but you're weird." Xiao replied bluntly, "I dont know you and I dont want to know you, ok? Im not interested in whatever it is you want to say and-"

Xiao looked up and saw that Aether was biting his lip with tears in his eyes.

"Uhm.." Xiao was thoroughly confused with no idea how to deal with this, thankfully Aether spoke up.

"But you do."

"Sorry?"

Aether took a deep breath and looked Xiao in the eye, "You do know me.. really well." His gaze was even but he was trembling a bit, "At least you used to.."

Xiao looked shocked, "Im sorry? Are you messing with me right now?"

Aether smiled warily, "no, of course not. I do have answers if you'll meet with me though."

Xiao glared at him before checking his watch. "Give me five minutes and then meet me at the pub run by Diluc, the red haired ponytail guy... you know who right?"

"Yea I do, alright!"

*Time Skip to After Xiao's Shift*

Aether sat at a table in the pub fidgeting nervously, /what if I can't make him remember..?/ he thought, scared.

Xiao walked in and looked around, identifying Aether, he walked over and sat down next to him before raising his hand, a waitress walked over and took his order, "the usual please, what do you want?" He then turned to Aether.

"Oh! Uhmm.. anything is fine.. surprise me please!" He replied flustered.

The waitress walked and Xiao turned to the golden haired beauty, "Tell me, Aether, what do you want with me?"

Aether took a deep breathe and started explaining, after he finished, he sipped on his drink which had come sometime in the middle. He watched a stony-faced Xiao for any reaction.

"And how do I know your telling the truth?" Xiao didnt look accusingly at Aether, he just seemed genuinely curious.

Aether paused, "ah... just.. trust me i guess?"
