The infection started out small, it was something easy to shrug off as something that will eventually pass. It was easy to shrug off as something that will never happen to them personally. People tried to remain blissfully unaware of the fact that the infection was rising in intensity. People went to work. They went to buy groceries. They went on jogs, on walks. They went on with their normal lives until that normal life was disturbed by a state of national emergency. Macon, Georgia went from normality to a state of panic in the early hours of the morning as the infection reached their city and was quickly spreading to others. Eventually it was a confirmed to have spread nationwide.

Till We Are Monsters follows the story of two siblings trying to survive a zombie outbreak. 

Warnings ✞ Will be added when the cast is decided. Please, keep in mind that this is story intended for mature audiences and is not for the faint of heart. This story explores grief and betrayal and difficult topics that will arise when it comes to a zombie outbreak. I will not be shying away from writing things for this.

Eden Speaking ✞ I am so beyond excited for this apply fic. The short summary was purposeful as the main thing about this story is surviving with storylines changing depending on where the characters go. Since I don't have a cast, it would be difficult to give a long summary of the overall goals of the characters so I just kept it safe and made it about the outbreak. Act One will have a simple plot outline and it will be explained in the rules and forms chapter.  

✞ This story is inspired by The Walking Dead Game and The Last Of Us. I am actually replaying The Walking Dead series for this and the amount of times I sided with Kenny...like that is my boy, but he gets in his feelings when you disagree with him and it's just so difficult LMAO. He's lucky as hell I don't like Lily anymore after Season Four. Don't get me wrong, I love Kenny. He is a very interesting flawed character and I will be turning around in my seat for Season Two! (If you get it, you get it.)
