Their arguments become nothing more than background noise as Clementine eyes the zombie in front of her. Contained, but for how long? She understands how this person is feeling; this is their family even if they aren't alive. This is their family and there might be a way to turn them back. Eventually. But how long is eventually? How long until this zombie eventually frees itself and attacks one of them? And in the end, this choice doesn't feel much like a choice at all. Her hands grasps the gun in coat and she takes aim. Pop. She vaguely hears a scream; the realization that she just shot their family member that was long dead even before she pointed her gun at them. She mutters an apology, but it sounds hollow. It sounds heartless and without regret. It sounds dry; like her eyes rolled as she said it. Better it than us, she wanted to say.

Personality, Clementine Amante is a force to be reckon with. She is intense and outspoken, never the one to back down from a fight first. She is opinionated and isn't afraid to show that. She is a fierce soul, a very bright sun full of anger and full of trust issues. She is the type that prefers to solve her problems with her fist to put it lightly. Clementine is very much a natural leader; she knows how to take charge. And when she talks, she tends to demand everyone's attention. She is just a very assertive person that isn't afraid to be the bad guy if it's needed. She isn't afraid to use people if it means that she will survive and that ends up being a main part of her character; doing anything she can to survive even if the decisions she makes is morally dubious. She has the mentality that it's best to sacrifice one to save many, but this mentality also makes her a hypocrite due to the fact that she wouldn't sacrifice herself or her sibling for the lives of many. That could be seen as selfish, and it is, but that is a big part of her character. She doesn't want to die, she's even afraid of it even if she likes to think she isn't. Clementine is someone that is mature and acts older than she actually is and that sometimes can make her come across as arrogant or even condescending at times. Despite her fierce attitude, Clementine is often reserved and unsociable; tending to bottle up her feelings and can be difficult to understand. He is very much an rebellious teenage at heart. Before the outbreak, he used to hang around the wrong type of crowd. He tends to resent authority and can be uncooperative when it comes down to it; stubbornness and pride clouding reason at time. He is someone that is confident in himself and his abilities. As the story goes on, he becomes more open and selfless. It's a slow drizzle, but slowly but surely, he gets to the point where regrets cloud of vision and mourning ties his tongue. He slowly starts to care about people more than himself and his sister and he feels like he needs to atone for the things he did. He becomes more emotional; more willing to help others and accept their help. Selfishness turning into selfness in a blink of an eye. His fear of death and getting hurt getting pushed aside as he becomes more reckless and impulsive due to this newfound selfness where he feels like he's responsible to keep everyone around him safe and alive.
