✞ Rules & Info.

Rule One ✞ Please be diverse. I want to see a various of different races, ages, personalities, backstories, etc. Face claims are not required so there is no excuse to not be diverse. Keep in mind that neopronouns are also allowed. Another thing I would like to add is that this is a zombie outbreak and not all characters will be prepared for that. Not all of them will be okay with killing at first even if they are zombies. I want to see different types of characters that react in different ways to what is happening around them. One of my favorite shows is Arcane and one of my favorite things about it is how you don't have to like a character to understand where they are coming. You don't have to like them to understand why they are who they are. And I'd love to see something similar to that in this story. Remember, that this is just the beginning and characters will have development throughout the acts! Be detailed and diverse with your characters is all I am asking.

Rule Two ✞ You can apply with as many characters as you'd like. I want and need a lot of side characters and recurring characters. So even if your character isn't part of the main cast, they can be apart of the side cast and will be mentioned and shown throughout the story. Side characters are a very important part of any story and that is something that I am going to show with this story. If you make more than one character, I would love to see characters who are connected to each other! Like married, related, dating, etc. Having established relationships like that are cool and I love it. At first, I will probably be ending up picking eight main characters or so, but people can apply to have characters be introduced later on and that will add onto the main characters.

Rule Three ✞ This is a zombie outbreak, some characters are going to die! If you're not comfortable with your character dying then I would just not apply. However, I only kill main characters if it makes sense to the plot as I don't really like killing characters for no reason especially main ones. I don't kill off characters for shock value or anything like that so rest assured that this is not going to be another Game of Thrones. 

Rule Four ✞ Readers will have an influence in my writing in this! I might add scenes or take the story in a different direction depending on the readers reactions on certain things. People that get accepted will also have a huge influence to the story as I would love to take any ideas you guys have and try to fit them into the story. That being said, I ask you to be active! Vote, comment, just let me know you're there. Don't apply and just disappear. The password is a song that you think I should add to this stories soundtrack.

Notes ✞ Characters can become walkers if they die without destroying the brain or if they are bitten. Bitten characters have at least forty eight hours or less before they turn. Animals such as dogs can also be turned into walkers if they are bitten.
✞ The story starts with the two main characters separated so there is two different groups. Mary-Jane finds a group at an convenience store while Clementine is at an juvenile detention center. The groups will intertwined eventually. The meeting will not be dragged out and will happen as soon as the plot allows it.
✞ The story starts in Macon, Georgia. But we will eventually be leaving there.
✞ The main conflict in Act One is just trying to handle the zombie outbreak. It's about survival and trying to figure out who to trust and stuff like that. The main antagonist is just the zombies with some conflict in the group here and there. The main conflict and antagonist other than the zombies in Act Two is a group similar to Carver's from The Walking Dead Game. It's an community. This will better be explained in the form as I will need characters for this group.
✞ Clementine Amante is immune to zombie bites and this is revealed in the prologue.
