The morning hit Dream like a train. He had only two things he needed to do that day, edit for two hours then clean up the house a bit, thank god Sap went to see Punz for the weekend. The two hours of editing went by in a flash and so did cleaning the house, now Dream was left to do whatever he wanted. Apparently though, he wanted to ball himself up on the couch and obsess. What was wrong with him? He's been ignoring everyone (Sap especially) ever since the dreaded thought passed his mind. After three days of thinking and picking apart the idea he's come to a conclusion. He did like when Sap comes in and tells him to do basic self care like eating or drinking water, it's normal though, he feels cared about when he's asked to do something for his own health. Sap was his best friend so the small flip of his stomach at the commands make sense right? "Yah right you just like getting bossed around." THAT side of his brain chirped. "Uuuughh! I'll prove that this has nothing to do with... that." Dream murmured to himself as he made his way upstairs.
He hopped online and opened his chat with George, clicking the call button. "Dream! Oh god everyone has been trying to call you, you left phil on read for three days, you done editing the manhunt and-" "George" Dream didn't mean for his voice to come out so rushed and snappy. "Sorry I just- ugh dude I have no clue how to even start." Clay picked at his hangnails trying to ground himself before he floated into space. "What are you going on about?" George laughed half heartedly trying to lighten the mood. "I think I'm gaslighting myself." Dream was surprised how bluntly he put it. "What do you mean." "Well you know how Sap moved in and it's been nonstop busy for us? Well I keep forgetting to eat," he could hear George worry over his speakers even without him saying a word. "This is going to sound really weird but, could you do something for me?" Dream chewed the inside of his cheek waiting for an answer. "What is it?" "Can you just tell me to do stuff. Like just random shit I'm trying to see something. Nothing to difficult though." Dream could hear how George rolled his eyes at the vagueness. "Okay well first eat if you haven't," he hadn't. "And take a hot shower put on some comfy clothes and relax." Dream took in the commands that sounded more like requests and held them in his mind like stone. "Can I ask what all this is about?" George piped up after a minute of silence. "I think I like when Sap bosses me around." Dream's hands flew up to cover his mouth hard enough to make a loud slap that the man on the line definitely heard. "What?!" "I- I don't fucking know he like bosses me around sometimes to take care of myself and it's been making me feel...odd." "So what? Are you having me tell you what to do so you can see if it's just with Sap?" Dream cringed at how all this sounded. "Pretty much... yes that's exactly what I'm doing. I know it's stupid but I've been freaking out for three days straight." The call fell silent for a moment. "Actually that makes sense. I mean you and I where just as close as you and Sap before he moved in, and it's not like I'm gonna gab to anyone about it." Dream sighs letting out a chuckle. "Thanks for being so understanding Gogy."  "As always- oh gotta go my pizza is here, I'll text you later-" and with that the call ended.
Dream did as George said and headed to the kitchen, he was displeased with the lack of warmth bubbling in his gut at the tasks but still found it comforting on a level. It's weird how when Sap walks in his whole body heats up and he feels as if he'll melt at the commands to take care of himself. But right now it was nothing besides a slight fuzz knowing George also cared enough to tell him to do basic hygiene even if he asked for it.  Once he was done eating he took a shower and put on his favorite fuzzy pj pants, sure they where woman's pants but they where so soft. Now he was once again left to do whatever he wanted.
Dream had diced maybe sitting on the couch and watching a movie might clear his head enough to make sense of things. As he started up a random movie he couldn't help his mind form wandering. Sap had held his chin up the same day the idea planted its roots, maybe that was it? Or is it the way Sap smells that makes heat submerge his skin. "What am I thinking?" He shook his head, trying to rid the thought out of his mind, but it did the opposite.
Now with the thought wedged into his brain he had to prove his own mind wrong. "Bad idea bad idea bad idea" his brain fired at him as he made his way up stairs. "This isn't gonna do anything besides make you spiral more." He walked down the hallway not even bothering to turn on the light. "This is creepy, he'll find out and he'll call you a freak." He clicked the door open. "It told you." There stood Dream, no shirt, hair sopping wet still, standing in the middle of Sap's room. His skin crawled as he walked over to Sap's beside table. "It's gotta be his body spray or something." He mumbled opening and closing the drawers not really looking much. He dose how ever find Sap's Thrasher hoodie. "Put it on." Said the stupid side of his brain and like an idiot, he listened to it. Now Dream stood in Sap's room wearing his hoodie. This really isn't doing anything for Dream's case. "That's it. I'm crazy! I'm fucking nuts." He goes to pull the hoodie off when the door swings open. "What are you doing?" Shit.
