1st Sight

Trouble at 1st Sight- Part 2

The next day at school, I walked to Kourtney who was with her boyfriend, as always. As she saw me, she told her bf that he needs to leave and that she'll see him later. Then she turned to me and started talking, fast.
Kourt: Are you going to talk to her?
King: Ummm yeah. Isn't that what I said I was gonna do.
Kourt: Yeah. I guess. You better hope Emmanuel is not around. Because if he is, you can say goodbye to life.
King: *starts laughing*
Kourt: *laughs with King*
Kourt: There she is. Go for it.

Soon as I turned around, there she was. Walking with her clique. She had her stuff in her bag, and so did all of her friends. I walk up to her and say "Hi, Ciara" and she turns and says "Hi. Kingston right?". I nodded. She smiled and walked off.

After 1st period, I find Kourtney walking towards the gym for the pep rally. I tell her everything, but she doesn't seem to like what I'm telling her so I asked her "What's wrong?".
Kourt: You might wanna leave Ci alone.
King: Why?
Kourt: Shes fake. After I left, her and her clique walked past me this morning and I heard them taking. She said, "Who is that and why did he talk to me?" then I heard one of the other girls say "Why is he dressed like he came from the hood? I mean he does know he goes to school in a rich neighborhood right?" and then Ciara said, "He's just dumb. I need to tell Emmanuel about everything and tell him to deal with King because I don't want anything to do with him".....
King: Are you serious?
Kourt: Yes.
King: Well Emmanuel can bust a move if he wants to. I'll be waiting right here.

For the rest of the day, there was no sign of Emmanuel. It was just like any other day, until later that night.
