Later that night, I had just got home from The Cheesecake Factory. All I wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed. But then it looked like my day wasn't going as planned.
I checked my phone's notifications and it said "Kik: New message from Emmanuel Hendrix". I sat down and read the message. Here is how it went:
Emmanuel: Hey
King: Ummmm... how did you get my Kik?
Emmanuel: Apparently you were in my contacts
King: ok........
Emmanuel: Wyd?
King: About to take a shower.
He didn't reply until 6 minutes later. And now I realized why it took him so long to reply.
Emmanuel: Ok. You know what let me to why I'm really texting you. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but you just need to leave Ciara alone and back off. She doesn't like you and she for sure doesn't want you. She told me everything. She said from the way you said "Hi" to her and the way you smiled at her, she could tell you liked her. One boy already likes her and it's kind of interfering with our relationship. So basically what I'm trying to say is, stay out of her way and mine too, because if either one us bumps into you, we gon' have some problems. I'm not trying to be mean tho....
It took me a while to reply because all I did was laugh. It was too funny. Him threatening me? HE COULD NEVA. And she can't even stand up for herself. WOW. So then I replied.
King: Ok BYE 😂💀👋🏾.
Emmanuel: Why you laughing?
King: Because you sound stupid right now 😂.
Emmanuel: Oh I sound stupid?
King: Isn't that what I said?
Emmanuel: Just wait until school tomorrow 😤. If I really do see you, I'm gon' hurt your feelings. You got that?
King: Ok BYE 😂😂.
