"This is so unnecessary I can walk fine" Tara said getting up out the wheelchair
"Bye Tara" the nurse hugged her, my mom was getting released from the hospital today. So far she seemed to be fine except for the limp she had when she walked and she was still coughing but everything else was good.
Kai helped her walk to the car which eventually she hit him "I can walk kai" she said making them Laugh and Kai went and got in on the drivers side.
"you ready to be going home?" Kai asked as he pulled off
"Yes, I just hope the world wasn't moving to fast while I was gone"she shook her head
"Hell my life was moving fast as hell and slow at the same time" kai bit down on his bottom lip
"how is that" she laughed
"the slowness of you still not waking up was terrible, and then everything that happened with cortez and then Mia. still can't believe that whole mia situation"
"Four years and y'all just going to throw it away? I don't know what she did but i trust that you made the right decision so I'm going to stop questioning you"
"But let me ask you one question" Tara said and Kai nodded "how did you go from Mia to soriah" she said making me laugh cause Mia and soriah was two different people and as much as I seen that I guess everyone else did too
"Me and her ain't together so I didn't really go from her to soriah" I mumbled
"You don't have to lie son" Tara laughed
"Soriahs a good girl though, I like her. And you know when I say that I really mean it. She's got a lot going for herself and you need someone to balance you out" Tara smiled looking out the window
"Ok ma" kai laughed waving her off, she then gasped as she pulled up to her house seeing all the cars and people in her driveway.
"they ain't here for me" kai laughed because she was looking over at him
Some people couldn't make it to visit her in the hospital, she also had limited visitations so they all just decided to see her when she came home
They both got out the car and Tara immediately started hugging some of her friends and family. Tara didn't really have a partner she had been single every since Kai's dad left, which he was on drugs bad so it was no telling where he was.
