Early morning rises and normally it would be the waking of my days to travel to work. Today though, I've decided to stay home. To take my daughter to school. To visit my husband at work. To give time for myself to think about the things that are going on in my life. I don't think of my depressing night, I just think of the good for now. I make breakfast and clean some before anybody in the house wakes up. Seven thirty rolls around and Kendall's alarm grows loud in the echoing hallways. I continue my attention on cooking Rain her eggs before she wakes.

"Morning beautiful" I hear as two warm lips touch my temple.

"Hey" I said taking the pan off the stove and setting it on the counter. I turn around and look at him. His face has pure complection of a god. There's only beauty in all he is..

I pull his dirty deep blond hair down to my face. Our lips collide and send a sensation through my veins as if I were a teenager again. He is shocked at first, but soon takes the satisfaction and sees what i am doing. His gentle arms pull on my hips, bringing me closer to his.

Soon, little paddles are heard hitting the floor and we pull apart knowing a sweet little blond head girl was coming into the kitchen. Kendall leans towards me and rests his forehead on mine. "Are you okay?" I close my eyes and shake my head yes. "Okay" he whispers and hugs me.

"Okay" i reply and pull away.

"Mommy! Daddy! Where are you?" A little wine comes running around the corner. Before she can realize where our location was, Kendall's arms swing down and pick her up, spinning her in the arm.

"Daddy!!!!" Rain screams. She starts giggling after her adrenaline calms down as Kendall sits her back on the floor. He kisses her forehead and she takes off running to me. "Mommy!" she speaks as she approaches my leg. If there was ever anything as in a rule in our house it was you had to greet everyone good morning and goodnight. It wasn't really my rule, Kendall had been the one to enforce it because he felt he should be close to his family due to his career.

I hug her and she runs to the bar to sit down. Unfortunately she has a short gene like her mother and can't reach the bar stool. I take a plate down out of the cabinet and slide some eggs on it from the pan. I place the plate down in front of her chair and help Rain up. Kendall got orange juice out of the fridge and poured each of us some. I went back into the kitchen and started fixing him and i  some breakfast.

Rain finished her food and went to get ready for school as we sat down at the dining table to eat.

"What's your plans today?" Kendall asked as he stuffed a fork full of eggs in his mouth. I shuffle around in the hard chair playing around with the food on my plate with a fork.

"Um, i was thinking of just staying home, take Rain to school, then do some house work that needs to be caught up on" i hesitate the last line because i seriously dread house work. He looks over to my eyes and raises his eyebrow. "Maybe i'll stop by the studio and see my husband work.." I conclude.

"No need, i took the day off" he answers quickly, not even giving me a chance to respond. My face grows in confusion. "I feel like i should and after everything i just want to spend time with you. Plus you're doctors appointment is today" he smiles.

"Kendall, i didn't make an appointment."  i smile back.

"I know, but the lady yesterday said it would be good for you to come in and, you know" he pauses "Talk about it"

I believe he was afraid to say the word cancer... I mean even i was afraid to say it so i can't blame him, but we're going to have to learn how to say it before long.

"Then i can go by myself. You don't have to take off work"

"I'm going with you" he states as he gets up taking his and my plate into the kitchen.
