It was a new morning filled with colours and happiness as it was Holi...all of them got up early, prayed to God and applied little colour on each other and wished a colourful holi. But our cute nandu was hiding in her room and waiting for her mani to apply colour to each other as she had heard that true lovers who apply colour first will always remain together forever. And as expected, manik eneterd her room and applied his fav red colour on her "Happy holi nandu...may your life be filled with colours full of happiness" and blessed her like a kid to which nandu blushed and applied colour on him as well. Nandu ran away happily and started dancing and singing with her friends like a kid....seeing which manik smiled and joined her....suddenly nandu started singing......

Soon they all retired to their rooms and it was night time....manik was gazing outside his window when it started raining all of a sudden....manik smiled brightly and closed his eyes to feel the emotions of rain that always brought peace to him.
But suddenly someone tapped his back and demanded for attention with her cute pout....he didn't even have to turn back to see who it was......
Manik then pulled nandu towards him and both sat in the balcony gazing their fav stars....
nandu " manik...why do you love stars soo much"
manik smiled at her innocent question "Because I can feel my parents in these stars...when ever they shine the brightest I feel like my parents are proud of my achievement that they are happy somewhere...I don't even remember them ...i wish they could have stayed with me a bit longer atleast for me to make some memeories with them."
nandu felt bad....she snuggled more to him..." They will always be with you manik in your heart...in your stars" manik smiled and again started looking at the stars;
nandu in her mind "i love stars because I love you...because I love everything that you love manik...and one day i will confess my feelings to you...and that day will the happiest day of my life" and blushed ...not knowing how the cruel fate will destroy all her dreams... Next day was a happy day for manik as manik recevied great news but unaware of the fact that this news is the beginning of destruction in nandu life. Nandu as usual woke up late and was unaware of a strom that has come to destroy her life. She casually went towards the hall where everyone was sitting ....
Ishita (nandu mom): "Is this the time to wake up nandini...when will you start taking responsibilty about your life" nandu made a bad face and looked at manik to save her from her mom's scolding but was glared by Ishita" Don't you dare look at manik for your rescue because he will not be here in a few days to bare your tantrums because he is going to U.S.A to complete his education"
nandu became numb...she could not believe that HER manik was going away from her...she looked at manik who nodded his head with a bright smile not knowing that he was going to loose her soon...nandu got up and ran away with tears in her eyes...manik signed....He should have known that this is a sensitive matter for her as she never lived without him for a single day since her birth..
Nandu ran away to her room balcony and closed the door and sat crying her heart out...
nandu p.o.v: "nooo....noooo....noooo....this cannot be true...He cannot go away from me...i need him to breath...i need him like oxygen...There is NO Nandini without her Manik...I don't even know how to lead a life without him...never there was a need for me to learn to live without him...and now...how can i live without him .......aaahhhhhaaaaaa.....noooooo.......nooooo......I will not let him go away from me....HE IS MINE"
Soon it was night but still nandu was locked in her balcony room....suddenly she heard someone sit beside the other side of the door and she knew it was him....
manik" nandu...why are you soo upset baccha...I am not going for lifelong...it is only for 2 years and i will return back soon...please try to understand nandu...this opportunity is very important for my career...when i got the news today morning that I have been offered scholorship... you were the first one I wanted to inform
because i thought you will be happy in my happiness but if you will cry like this then how will I go"
nandu " Then don't go...I will not let you go...never"
manik"Do you really want your mani to miss this opportunity?"
nandu "If i say NO will you not go and agree to me"
manik "yes...if you are not happy with this then i will not go"
nandu signed she knew she had to let him go "promise me that you will return immediately after 2 years" manik " I promise baccha...I will return as soon as i complete my studies" nandu nodded her head but only she knew how difficult it will be to live without him.
Soon manik left for U.S.A. while nandu waited for him.

But she was feeling uneasy..like manik is going away from her...she just wanted to run into his arms and hug him tightly and never let him go.
Time passed by manik was enjoying his life to the fullest...He was a reserved kind of guy as he did not want to be a burden on his foster parents..so he always used to adjust for everything with a smile on his face...but here in U.S.A he finally let go of his shield and was just himself...he partied with his friends, did cool part time jobs, tried new dishes everyday but most importantly he had found the LOVE OF HIS LIFE...a girl who matched his standards, who liked almost evrything which he liked, she was perfect for him and he loved her dearly....
unknowingly manan were drifting apart...nandu worst fear was becoming true and she was unaware of the strom that was about to destroy her life.
