Dear Diluc,

Crying is a normal human reaction, yet people still consider it to be cowardly.

My tears just won't stop.
Does that make me a fool?

Sincerely, Y/n.

She sat in the darkness of the guest room, her tears silently dampening the sheets. Y/n always believed herself to be sensitive - a crybaby. Or perhaps it was everyone around her that convinced her.

The guest room she sat in belonged to the Dawn Winery. The winery was like her home, the place she was welcome in anytime. She got along well with the maids, and Diluc had given her permission to go in and out as she pleased.

The reason why she was here today was because the young tavern owner had invited her for dinner tonight, as he eventually got tired of eating by himself all the time.

"Y/n? Are you in here?" Diluc's voice rung through the wooden door.

The girl quickly wiped her tears away, readying her voice to reply to her friend.

"Yeah, I'm here." She tried to say in a steady voice, but it came out shaky all the same.

Diluc slowly opened the door, revealing long tresses of red hair spreading like wildfire across his shoulders.

He was worried after hearing her tone. "Are you alright?"

"Why wouldn't I be?" She said as she mustered up a smile. How real she made it seem scared both of them.

Diluc gazed at her from the doorway, his expression painful.

Y/n never said she was alright.
