"good morning y/n, my name is alex and my partner's name is jessica. we'll be the ones asking the questions today." the younger looking guy said. i rolled my eyes, and nodded. "the current date is july 22. time: 1:27 pm."

i really didn't wanna be here.

"do you have any questions before we begin?" jessica asked.

"yea. why did you bring everyone in the fucking survey corp and mp program here? i don't even know majority of these idiots." i said.

"we need witnesses. and you're track record shows you are prone to emotional outbursts." she replied

"you scared i'll kick your ass?" i chuckled before slouching down.

"as i said, you're prone to emotional outbursts that cause a lot of physical violence. look at them being here as back up."

"fuck you and your backup you piece of-" i started saying before i heard someone clearing their throat. i looked up at the person, who just so happened to be levi. he shook his head no at me, basically telling me to calm it down.

"first, we'll start off with basics, what's your name, age, date of birth and why are you being placed in commander smith's care?" alex asked.

"y/n y/l/n. 18. my birthday is tomorrow. i was arrested for possession of government property, resisting arrest and assault." i said. "but you knew all that already."

"it was for the witnesses and the record." he said. "we're gonna jump right in. tell us about your mother and birth father."

"my mother wad a sex worker and my father was one of her clients. he actually decided to step up once he found out she was pregnant." i said. "my mom and my dad never dated or lived together."

"can you tell the court about your life was a child living with your mother." jessica asked.

"i don't remember a time that my mom wasn't dating her bitch ass boyfriend. i used to stay with my dad every other week."

"why'd you stop?"

"cause he was murdered." i admitted.

"when and how was this? there is no record of it in court documents." alex asked, flipping through the stacks of paper in front of him.

"of course it's not in your fucking court documents. you people among the walls don't give a shit about us underground." i raised my voice. "if i didn't have your precious equipment, you wouldn't have even went down there."

"when and how did he die was my question, miss y/l/n." alex said.

"when i was 5. it happened right in front of me. he had been held down and he was shot execution style. the last thing he told me was to run." i said, looking around the room. "by the time help arrived, i was already covered in his blood, trying to save him. they had to pull me off his dead body. is that enough information for you?" i could feel tears coming.

"is it safe to say you were close with your father?" he asked.

"my father was the first person to make me feel like i mattered. he made me feel like i was loved. i dreamed my mom would just divorce charles and marry my dad, but charles bitch ass took that from me."

"wait. are you insinuating that mr. alexander was the one who killed your father."

"i'm not insinuating. it happened." i said.

"okay. what about your mother? there is a death certificate for not only her but for your two siblings, raven and logan alexander. we're they twins?"

"yes." i said. i didn't wanna answer anything pertaining to raven and logan. it was still a very sensitive topic after all these years.
