Chapter 4

My head hurts as hell and I couldn't even lift my arms to answer a call. My phone kept on ringing but I just ignored it. No, I don't want to answer the call. I'm too lazy to lift a finger. Last night, I got myself drunk with some of my colleagues.

Fuck this! I thought I am already immune of the alcohol's effect but seemed like, I ain't that great when it comes to alcohol tolerance.

Kanina pa nagriring ang punyetang  cellphone na iyan! I tried closing my eyes again but the damn phone just kept on ringing. With all the annoyance in my system, I sat up from my bed.

Papa is calling...

Okay, so what the hell does he need from me?

"Hello, Pa."

"Where are you, Sahia?"

I clenched my jaw. He'll probably confirmed what Mr. Mariano and I had talked about to. I know Papa too well. He will not call for Pete's sake.

"Flat." I lowly said.

"You talked to Mariano?"

I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah. What do you need?"

"Well, I uh, since you agreed to his conditions, can you -- "

I cut him off.

"What is it this time?"

I am controlling myself cause if I don't, I'll burst. I remind myself to kill that Mariano guy once I see his face.

"Walang kasama si Cassandra sa Olympus. Mariano and I will be having a 3 months vacation abroad. I'll take your mom with me."

Nangunot ang noo ko. What the fuck! Gagawin pa akong babysitter!

"You want me to baby sit her? Wala ba silang yaya?"

Anong klaseng buhay ang meron ang Marianong yun? He'll just leave his daughter for vacation abroad? Matanda na siya. He should be staying at home - tied in his bed. My blood is boiling all of a sudden.

"You need to keep her company. The girl is impaired. She's alone and no one will take care of her. Use these 3 months to convince her about the marriage."

Now, what? So, Cassandra don't want this marriage as well but her ass of a father kept on giving her away? What an actual fuck!

Napahilot ako sa sentido ko. Apaka-gago mo talaga, Mariano.

"Fine. Fine. Text me the address."

I just said as I turned off the call. I looked at the other side of the bed and I found a woman - sleeping peacefully. Hindi ko na tiningnan ang itsura niya dahil nagmamadali ako. At saka, I don't want to wake her up, baka habulin pa ako.

I don't know her name. I met her yesterday and we get laid. Nothing new. I needed comfort, and she's there to satisfy me. Hindi masama ang ugali ko but I don't really get hurt - leaving girls behind after a one night stand. I know how to respect women if they respect themselves as well. Sinong matinong babae ang makikipag-one night stand sa lalaking di niya kalilala? Baliw lang.

When I arrived at Olympus, I bought flowers when I passed by a flower shop. I don't know what is Cassandra's favorite flower and so I just bought bouquet of roses. Sana lang ay hindi siya allergic sa flowers.

The guard let me in easily for according to him, Mr. Mariano had them informed of my arrival already. In fact, Papa made sure that I'll be living in Jade Cashmere Sapphire Castle for real. Naipadala na pala niya ang mga gamito ko.

Sumasakit ang ulo ko kapag naiisip ko ang kapangahasan nila ni Mr. Mariano. The maid guided me to my room and there I saw all of my things. It's already been settled. My clothes and everything are all placed inside the closet.
