More Than Life (A SHARCCI FAN FICTION)

Chapter 5

Staying in Jade Cashmere Sapphire Castle isn't as bad as I think it is. I thought I'll just bore myself out. I just really have to be sympathetic towards Cassandra and nothing more.

Cassandra has been nothing but a good girl really. Nag-uusap naman kamikami kahit papaano. She's good. In fact, hindi ko pa siya nakikita na nag-rereklamo sa presence ko. I've been here for weeks already and she seemed to get used at my presence.

Today is Sunday and so Yaya Mimi is not around. I was informed last week that Yaya Mimi usually takes her day off every weekends. So I need to wake up early to prevent Cassandra from doing the household chores.

Last week, she got her finger burns. She tried cooking our breakfast. Sunday and so Yaya Mimi was not around that time. She was used to making her foods for herself alone, but then, she wasn't alone - cause clearly I was with her. That gave her the idea to at least cook food for me.

I can still remember how scared I got when I found her in the kitchen - sitting while searching for a thing to hold. It was a horrible scene and I never wanted to see that kind of sight again.

I never really tried cooking. Hell! I never even imagine myself cooking anything. I was born with chiefs all over the kitchen. I order foods. I don't need to worry about foods cause I got people to prepare it for me. And so right now, I'm having hard time to do this. How the hell would I do this? Ano namang pwede kong iluto?

Geez! I realized, I only know how to fuck but never the cooking. Natampal ko ang noo ko.

I opened my phone and tried searching of an easy to make food for breakfast. I decided to cook an omelette, and tried frying bacons. I watched the tutorial in YouTube before finally making one.

Hindi ko alam kung tama ba ang ginawa ko, but I was kind of satisfied with my hardwork's results. I just really hope that Cassandra will eat this. Kahit kainin lang niya without complain.

I went up to Cassandra's room. I knocked 3 times just to make sure that she's really up. I don't want to repeat what happened last week. I entered her room without a knock while she was dressing herself up. That was so stupid of me! I don't want her to think that I'm taking advantage of her situation.

When I heard her voice - urging me to enter, I obliged. I just really hope she's well-dressed.

I found her sitting on her bed. She is already dressed with her long baby blue skirts matching it with her navy blue short-sleeve blouse. Not that bad. Hindi ko sasabihin na pangit ang fashion niya. Of course, she doesn't have an idea what fashion is. But really, kahit siguro basahan pa ang isout niya, she'll stand out. Sobrang ganda kasi niya.

I sighed. I can't believe, Mariano is willing to marry her of to me. I don't think I can take advantage of her innocence. She's just too pure.

"I prepared our breakfast."

I went near her and her baby smell corrupted my nose upon the proximity. Napapikit ako para magpigil. Damn! I just want to glue my nose to her. She smells devine. Ito ang kinakatakot ko. I'm afraid I'll get addicted to her. Amoy palang niya nakakabaliw na.

"Ah, sige." She stood up from her seat and is about to search for her cane when I lifted her in my arms.

Hindi ko alam ang pumasok sa utak ko. I just find it weird na hahanapin pa niya ang cane niya gayung nandito naman ako. I can take her wherever she wants to by carrying her.

"Kumapit ka nang mabuti, baka mahulog ka."

Mag-rereklamo pa sana siya nang magsimula na akong maglakad. Humigpit ang hawak niya sa leeg ko. Now, I can smell her fully. This girl is making me crazy.
