Malcolm finished on the phone and went to change his clothes.

His room was painted light blue, there was a large bed at the side that could fit a family of four. There was a brown sofa at the left side of the bed and a bedside table with a homie lamp on top, at the right. He had a walk-in closet and dressing table with a large mirror in it.

He changed into a white T-shirt and black jean trouser. He wore his sunglasses over his hair still covering his eyes. He picked up his Ford car keys and his phone from his bed and left the room.

He went downstairs and found out Philip had already left. He sighed, his Adam's apple bobbing. He touched his clean shaven face and walked outside.

Honk! The white SUV parked outside made a blaring noise.

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Vee locked the door to her apartment and ran towards the car. She was putting on a light pink, long sleeved off-shoulder gown. Her gown was body hugging, only reaching her thighs, revealing her slender legs. On her feet were a pair of silver shoes with transparent short heels. Her black hair parked in a ponytail, reaching her waist. She held a silver purse.

Her breathing was uneven as she sat in the passenger's seat and turned to look at the driver, her long earrings dangling. She smiled brightly at him showing her perfect white teeth and asked playfully, "where are we going, blondie?"

The other person was stunned for a moment. He had a stunning face, his lips were thin and his eyes were big. He had his blonde hair part in the middle, reaching his shoulders. There were diamond stubbed earrings on his earlobes. He looked radiant and said mischievously, "it's a secret" he had a sly smile.

His voice brought pleasure to her ears. She looked up at him, amused, "you better not play any games, Ethan Crane?" She said pouting.

Ethan looked at her and smiled, "why do you do that weird thing, calling people's name in full, Ronnie?" he asked helplessly.

She opened her purse and brought out a chocolate bar. "Not people, just you" she said, smiling. She opened the chocolate bar and popped in her mouth. "Can we get going now?"

Ethan was helpless against her as he started the car engine. "Does Malcolm know you're back?"

Vee frowned and looked at her chocolate in disgust, suddenly losing appetite, "the world doesn't revolve around Malcolm, you know?"

Ethan laughed so hard, looking very amused. "Your world revolves around him, Ronnie... and he's a celebrity so technically, the world does revolve around him" he said with a serious expression.

"I didn't tell him I was back and I can't say for sure that he doesn't already know" she answered his initial question.

He was silent for a while before saying "it's fine. We're almost there"

He remembered being in a love triangle, he knew he couldn't have Ronnie anymore but at least they were still friends.

Basically every girl in school wanted Malcolm back then and he didn't mind even though Malcolm's looks were half as good as his, he just didn't want Ronnie going for him too.

She had lots of guys fawning over her and she had to pick an incompetent idiot to fall in love with. He sighed and looked at her side profile as she ate her chocolate.

The car finally came to an halt, they were at a park.

Vee hopped down the car and pat the nonexistent dust on her clothes. "Sunrise park, been a while" she had a sweet smile, looking completely different from the irritated girl in the car.

Ethan came down from the car and stood by her side, she took his hand and rushed towards the cotton candy stand. Ethan smiled, already used to her childlike behavior.

At a five star restaurant, two men were seated looking at the menu. They were of similar age, probably in their early twenties. One was chubby, had puffy cheeks, slender eyes, a round neck with a hair filled with brown. He could be described as handsome.

The other man had a pair of glasses on, he was slim and his caramel brown hair was short. His slender fingers had long nails. His hazel eyes were downturned. He had an Average look.

The restaurant door opened, revealing a man on white and black with black sunglasses.

Both men sitting at the table looked up. "Malcolm, you're here" the chubby man said with a smile.

Malcolm sat down opposite the two men and nodded. "Veronica is back" he skipped the formalities and went straight to the point.

The two men looked at each other, then back at Malcolm. "We know" the man with glasses said.

Malcolm looked at them with disbelief, "Kai" he looked at the man with glasses, "she told you?" He asked.

"Pretty much, we're all friends after all" Kai said calmly. He placed his hands on his nose bridge and pushed his up glasses.

Malcolm faced the other man. "Derian, you knew too?"

"She told me she was coming and I didn't tell you 'cause I thought you knew already" Derian said.

" I didn't, it doesn't matter anyway, I need a favor from you guys" Malcolm said.
