Rin hummed as she picked flowers, Lord Sesshomaru had left her with Ah-Un and Jakken while he went to do something. Ah-Un was currently dozing by the small creek that ran not too far from the field while Jaken is somewhere ranting about having to stay with the disgusting human girl. It was about noon and Rin's stomach was growling. "Ah-Un, Jaken-sama Rin is going to look for food, okay?" Rin's voice rang through the clearing.The dragon nodded showing it understood then lazily closed it's eyes while the imp seems to rant even harder. Rin giggled and ran into the trees remembering a berry bush she had seen earlier.She found the bush and grabbed as many berries as she could fit into her kimono.Laughing, she made a game of how many she could get in her kimono without them spilling over. Kimono filled to the brim, she set off again to find Ah-Unbut froze as she heard leaves crunching behind her. Behind her was a youkai. Eyes glowing red as it stalked it's next meal. Slowly turning around she saw it long body and sharp fangs- it was a snake youkai. Rin let a blood curdling scream and dropped her food as the snake lunged at her. Without thinking rin started running. Rin was running. She had gotten lost. Jaken had lied to her. He had said that there were no yokai near their camp. Now a demon was after her. Please Lord Sesshoumaru! Find me! I'm about to get eaten! She tripped and fell face first into the dirt. The demon lunged at her. She scrambled up and ran faster away. The demon was catching up. Even though Rin was scared, she was starting to tire. Rin tripped again but this time she didn't have the strength to get back up. The demon lunged. Rin shut her eyes tight, preparing for the blow.Then, coming from behind Rin, an arrow passed her by and struck the youkai right between the eyes. The snake youkai hissed in pain and then blew up. The blow never came. She opened one eye and saw the demon was no longer there. In its place was an arrow. Rin let out a startled gasp and whirled around to see a beatyfull silver haired, purple eyed girl standing in front of her.

The girl seemed rather ethereal and the aura surronding her feels similar with that of Sesshomaru-sama. Rin watched her approaching slowly, as if trying not to scare her but the way she moves makes her seems like a predator stalking its prey. Rin just stared at her feeling very small at that moment and as if the other understood Rin feeling she opened her mouth and spook. "Hmm? Calm down little girl. I have no interest in hurting someone weaker than me. But I need to make sure that you're not hurt." Deciding this ethereal girl was safe Rin let her check her over while she looked around. Rin didn't know where she was but she didn't want to find out, it was getting dark and she knew she had to get back but she was lost with no idea of how to return go her camp . Satisfied that the little girl in front of her was relative unharmed Zero decided to ask. "What are you doing out here alone little one? Where are your parents?" "I don't have any parents or a village, Rin is looking for food." Rin looked at the ground."Zero felt a tinge of simpaty towards Rin, 'She must be an orphan, the poor thing. But she looks pretty clean and well fed to be living in a forest let alone on her own. Maybe it happened recently. Well, whetever the case I can't leave her here to starve' "Do you have any family or somebody to look after you?" If she did Zero would make sure the little girl got to them. Rin was wondering why Zero wanted to know but realizing she wandered too far from the camp and was lost, figuring it would be best to stay with the girl who saved her until Lord Sesshomaru found her she answered "Hai, but Rin doesn't know where he is. Rin is sure he will find her soon though". Zero was glad to hear that Rin had a guardian, the only problem was finding him "What's his name?" Rin hesitated, she wasn't sure she should tell the strange girl, what if she was an enemy of Lord Sesshomaru's? She didn't look like it, better safe then sorry though, right? Noticing Rin's hesitation, Zero let it drop. "Would you like to come with me until we find your guardian, Rin?" Rin was still hungry, and it looked like she could trust the older girl, beside Lord Sesshomaru would find her eventually.So Rin nodded eagerly, "Hai." Zero lips twitched at the little one enthuziasm and offered a hand which Rin took as they went to the silverete camp. "Also, little one, my name is Zero."Rin seemed surprised at first only for a smile to bloom on her little face . It wasn't long in their walk when in their way appeared two or three ogre demons which it seems to frighten Rin quite a bit but Zero seemed as if their presence didn't bothered her at all. Whithout hesitation Zero pushed Rin behind her, draw her sword and with incredible speed slashed the demons before they could even realize what has happened.
